What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient and provider inquiries. - You will schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately using healthcare software. - You will maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. - You will assist callers with insurance verification and billing questions. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures. - You will handle escalated calls with empathy and problem-solving skills. - You will contribute to meeting team performance goals and quality standards. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. - Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare software applications. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
