Role Overview: As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and efficient handling of inquiries. Your role is vital in supporting healthcare operations and enhancing patient satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy. - You will provide accurate information regarding appointments, billing, and healthcare services. - You will document and update patient records and call logs accurately. - You will resolve patient concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. - You will participate in training sessions and continuously improve your knowledge of healthcare processes. - You will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth call center operations. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - You are proficient with computer systems and data entry. - You have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You are comfortable working onsite in Monroeville, PA with flexible shift availability. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a healthcare call center environment.
