Role Overview: As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional customer service and support. Your role is vital in managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information to ensure a smooth healthcare experience. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient and provider inquiries. - You will schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately using healthcare software. - You will provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding healthcare services. - You will document all interactions and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare protocols and call center best practices. - You will manage call flow efficiently to meet performance targets and service level agreements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. - Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare scheduling software. - Ability to work onsite in Monroeville, PA with flexible scheduling during business hours. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes. - Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, to assist diverse patient populations. - Previous experience working in a healthcare call center environment.
