What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers promptly and professionally. - You will provide accurate information regarding appointments, billing, and healthcare services. - You will document and update patient records and call logs with attention to detail. - You will resolve patient concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare policies and procedures. - You will collaborate with team members to improve call center processes and patient experience. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with call center software. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
