Director of Product Marketing and Market Research

Mews•Anywhere•Full-time
View Job
Compensation$90K - 150K a year

Lead product marketing and market research functions to define strategic positioning and go-to-market execution, owning customer insights and competitive intelligence to influence leadership and drive outcomes. | 10+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with team leadership and market research management, expertise in go-to-market strategy and competitive analysis, translating research into business decisions. | Help make the world more hospitable The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences. You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building. If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here. About the role Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: POSITION OVERVIEW Product marketing at Mews is at a turning point. The function has been effective at launching products; what it has not yet built is the strategic layer that comes after launch – the continuous positioning, adoption strategy, and market intelligence that makes each product more valuable over time. This role owns that shift. The Director of Product Marketing and Market Research is a combined senior leadership role responsible for two things that should never have been separated: how Mews brings products to market, and how Mews understands the market it operates in. You will lead the product marketing team, own the research and customer insights function, and serve as the go-to authority on both disciplines for senior leadership across the business. Mews operates across property management, fintech and payments, guest experience, and marketplace. The right person for this role knows how to build a coherent positioning story across a complex multi-product portfolio – and how to ground that story in real market intelligence, customer insight, and competitive understanding rather than assumption. RESPONSIBILITIES Product marketing strategy Define and own product marketing strategy across the Mews portfolio – covering positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution from launch through adoption and ongoing engagement. Build and govern the global product launch framework so that launches are scalable and repeatable, with clear handoffs between strategy and execution. Own product adoption and post-launch engagement strategy – moving the function beyond launch execution to continuous market thinking that drives usage, retention, and revenue contribution. Partner with Product, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success to ensure product marketing strategy connects to commercial outcomes and is reflected in how the business goes to market. Own NPS tracking programs and design the measurement framework for product marketing impact, including product attach rates, adoption metrics, and pipeline contribution. Market research and customer insights Own the end-to-end market research function: identifying research opportunities, designing methodology, running studies, synthesising findings, and activating insights across the business. Lead primary and secondary research initiatives that inform strategic, commercial, and product decisions – including competitive analysis, customer behaviour, market sizing, and buyer intelligence. Build competitive intelligence as a structured, ongoing discipline – not a one-off project. Translate competitive signals into positioning decisions, sales enablement, and product roadmap input. Serve as the functional authority on what the market is telling Mews, and translate that into insight narratives that influence senior leadership decisions and business strategy. Work closely with Strategy, Product, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure insights land where decisions get made, not just where they get read. Team and function leadership Lead and develop a team of product marketers, setting clear expectations, building capability, and creating a culture of commercial accountability. Set the operating model for how the team works with AI – determining where AI handles execution tasks and where human judgment is irreplaceable, and building team-level standards accordingly. Serve as the senior leadership go-to on product marketing and market intelligence – the person any executive can trust for a well-grounded, commercially-connected answer. Represent product marketing and research in executive forums, contributing to annual planning and portfolio prioritisation decisions. REQUIREMENTS Professional knowledge and experience 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with the majority of that time in product marketing – not demand generation, not agency, not brand-only roles. Has held a Director, Senior Director, or Head of Product Marketing title, or a broader marketing leadership title that included ownership of the product marketing function. Proven track record managing and developing a multi-person product marketing team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Experience owning or significantly contributing to a market research or customer insights function – primary research methodology, competitive intelligence programs, or voice-of-customer work. Deep understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy: positioning, messaging architecture, pricing and packaging alignment, sales enablement, and lifecycle marketing. Experience building or significantly reshaping a product marketing function – not just managing an inherited one. Has operated in a lean, fast-moving environment such as a scale-up, growth-stage, or pre-IPO company. Experience only in large enterprise environments with unlimited resources is unlikely to be a strong fit. Skills and capabilities Owns GTM strategy end-to-end – from initial positioning through post-launch adoption and continuous market engagement. Experience limited to launch execution is not sufficient. Connects product marketing directly to revenue outcomes. Can articulate how their work has influenced pipeline, product attach rates, adoption, or retention – not just campaign outputs. Translates research into business decisions – not just insight reports. Has a track record of research that changed a strategic or commercial direction. Multi-functional marketing experience beyond product marketing, for example content, SEO, digital, demand generation, or go-to-market strategy. Metrics-driven. Comfortable defining and owning the measurement framework for both product marketing impact and research quality. Strong senior stakeholder communication. Able to influence executive decisions, present with authority, and earn trust through substance rather than seniority alone. Publicly visible in the product marketing or insights community – speaker, writer, or recognised contributor to the discipline. Not a requirement, but a meaningful differentiator. AI fluency AI is changing the product marketing function in a way that is more structural than any other recent technology shift. A significant part of this role is deciding what that means for the team at Mews – what AI handles, what stays human, and how to build a team that operates at a higher strategic level as execution work is automated. We expect this person to: use AI tools deliberately and with criteria; describe specific examples of AI changing how they or their team works strategically; have a point of view on where the product marketing function is heading as AI matures; and build team-level standards for AI use, including how to review and quality-control AI-assisted outputs before they reach senior stakeholders or customers. NICE TO HAVE Fintech, payments, or financial services product marketing experience. Hospitality, travel tech, or hotel SaaS background. Both fintech and hospitality in one profile is the strongest possible combination for this role. Global market experience. Experience in a company that has undergone a go-to-market transformation. Servant

Principal Enterprise Consultant, Technology & AI

Servant•Anywhere•Contract
View Job
Compensation$120K - 180K a year

Lead go-to-market strategy for technology and AI products and serve as senior advisor to C-suite stakeholders. | Extensive executive-level experience in enterprise technology consulting with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. | This is a fractional role with an hourly rate, ideal for an experienced leader who wants to bring their expertise, network, and executive presence to a growing team. The Company At Servant, we specialize in empowering leaders and organizations within faith communities through innovative digital transformation and change management solutions. We are dedicated to providing tailored strategies that align with our clients' values and missions, focusing on service, integrity, and excellence. Our team is passionate about driving impactful change by equipping our partners with the tools and technologies they need to thrive in a digital age. Role Overview Servant is seeking a Principal, Technology and AI Product Services GTM leader to drive revenue and customer growth by maximizing the go-to-market motion for Servant's Technology and AI Product engagements. This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer and is not a delivery role. It is a market-facing, door-opening, credibility-lending role for someone who has spent a career sitting across the table from CIOs, CTOs, and technology boards — and who can walk into any room, at any level of seniority, and be trusted immediately on large-scale technology decisions. You bring firsthand experience running enterprise technology organizations, paired with prior consulting expertise and a track record building platform integration services. You advise senior technology leaders and C-suite stakeholders at target accounts on large-scale technology and AI product solutions, help inform and shape the solutions Servant designs for those engagements, and — critically — serve as a deal source, opening doors that our Growth Advisors then walk through to close and grow the relationship. Key Responsibilities: Go-to-Market Leadership Own and maximize the go-to-market motion for all Technology and AI Product services — identifying where Servant should be showing up, with whom, and why. Build and maintain a personal network of senior technology relationships across target enterprise accounts that generates a durable, repeatable source of qualified opportunity. Serve as a deal source: identify, cultivate, and open sales doors that Servant Growth Advisors can then pursue, qualify, and close. Represent Servant at the executive level in target markets — conferences, boards, advisory councils, and executive forums — as a recognized thought leader in enterprise technology and AI product innovation. Senior-Level Technology Advisory Advise CIOs, CTOs, and senior technology leadership at target customers on large-scale technology solutions and AI product opportunities, translating ambiguity into a clear point of view and a credible path forward. Bring pattern recognition from prior CIO, consulting, and platform integration experience across a wide breadth of customer types, industries, and technology stacks. Walk customers through a journey that reduces ambiguity, builds conviction, and powers their growth and impact — well before a formal engagement begins. Solution Shaping Inform and shape the solution design for Technology and AI Product engagements based on direct exposure to what customers actually need, in partnership with Servant's delivery and solutioning teams. Serve as a bridge between what the market is asking for and what Servant builds — ensuring our technology and AI product offerings stay sharp, relevant, and differentiated. Partner closely with Growth Advisors and delivery leadership to ensure a smooth handoff from relationship to proposal to engagement. Experience Prior executive technology experience — you've sat in the seat, owned an enterprise technology organization, and made the calls this role's customers are wrestling with. Prior consulting expertise — you've built and advised on large-scale technology strategy inside a top consulting practice, not just adjacent to one. A track record building platform integration services — you understand how complex enterprise systems actually connect, modernize, and scale. A breadth of experience working across many different customer types, industries, and technology environments, not a single vertical. A demonstrated track record advising at the most senior levels within enterprise organizations — CIOs, CTOs, CEOs, and boards, not just project sponsors. A history of generating and opening new business relationships that others have successfully converted into revenue. Presence & Approach Significant gravitas — the ability to command credibility and trust in any room, from a CIO's office to a Fortune 500 boardroom, from the first minute. A recognized thought leader in enterprise technology and AI product innovation, comfortable publishing a point of view and defending it in front of skeptical technical audiences. A natural advisor's instinct: comfortable with ambiguity, able to bring structure and clarity to a customer's technology and AI product questions before a formal scope exists. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset — this role wins by opening doors for others and shaping solutions alongside delivery teams, not by working alone. Genuine alignment with Servant's Core Values, and the ability to embody them in how you show up with customers and colleagues alike. Travel & Working Rhythm This role carries a travel commitment of approximately 30% — time spent in front of senior technology stakeholders at target and prospective accounts, at industry events, and in-market building the relationships that fuel Servant's Technology and AI Product pipeline. The remainder of the time is spent shaping solutions with Servant's teams, prepping for the next room, and staying sharp on where enterprise technology and AI are heading. This role is scoped as a 20-hour per week commitment, and has the opportunity to grow as the business grows. At Servant, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion. We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
