This role requires strong project management discipline, excellent follow-through, and sound judgment in balancing scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager must be able to plan, organize, and deliver while navigating ambiguity, maintaining attention to detail, and communicating clearly with all levels of the organization — from technical teams to senior leadership. The ideal candidate demonstrates emotional intelligence, discernment, and accountability, ensuring projects stay on track, stakeholders stay informed, and organizational objectives are consistently met. Essential Functions * Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple concurrent Revenue Cycle projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within established scope, schedule, and budget. * Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans using Smartsheet and other project management tools, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. * Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including hospital executives, clinicians, analysts, and vendors—to ensure alignment, effective communication, and project clarity.  Utilize project management tools to centralize project information, enhance team collaboration, and support reporting needs. * Manages large-scale or mission-critical projects with complex scope and high visibility. * Leads stakeholder engagement, executive updates, and vendor relationships. * Owns project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract alignment. * Anticipates and mitigates risks across work streams and resource groups. * Delivers clear and compelling executive presentations and dashboards. * Collaborates closely with enterprise PMO teams to ensure adherence to standards. * Mentors junior project team members and promotes best practices. * Supports vendor management and contract alignment in accordance with project needs. * Promotes consistency by applying PMO standards, templates, and methodologies. * Champions adoption and change management efforts across the business. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Complies with all policies and standards. * This is a remote opportunity. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field required * 5-7 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a technology, digital, or enterprise setting required * Experience managing high-budget projects and leading vendor partnerships required Preferences:  * Proven experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Patient Accounting) or equivalent EHR revenue cycle platforms highly preferred * Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years managing large-scale healthcare or revenue cycle system projects highly preferred * Experience within multi-hospital or enterprise healthcare organizations  * Strong proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite. * MBA or Master’s degree in IT or Healthcare Administration. * CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Advanced project leadership skills with the ability to lead large-scale, high-visibility, or mission-critical initiatives across business and technical domains. * Demonstrated experience navigating matrixed organizations and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals. * Expert-level understanding of project lifecycles, delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), and PMO governance standards. * Proven ability to lead vendor engagements, manage complex scopes, and ensure successful delivery across internal and external partners. * Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to deliver strategic presentations and status updates to senior leadership. * Deep experience managing project financials, including complex budgeting, forecasting, and contract alignment. * Proficiency in project and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Asana. This role serves as the central point of accountability for managing the clinical application lifecycle, overseeing technical infrastructure tasks, and coordinating complex vendor engagements across platforms including UiPath, Tarpon, AGS, and Athena. The Senior Project Manager, Healthcare Integrations partners with clinical and business stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and within scope. They apply deep knowledge of healthcare operations, specifically HL7 data integration and clinical workflows to drive execution, mitigate technical risks, and support project management best practices across the team.  Essential Functions * Leads the full lifecycle of large-scale, cross-functional, or strategically significant projects from initiation through closure. * Works with the Technical Team for VM provisioning, firewall configuration, remote access setup, IP whitelisting, service account provisioning, EMR access, CDW data alignment, and integration.  * Tracks the budget and POs and ensures Change Management is implemented when needed. * Collaborates with business units and functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. * Manages detailed project plans, allocates resources, tracks milestones, and drives execution to ensure alignment with goals and deadlines. * Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues, escalating as needed to maintain project progress. * Serves as the primary liaison for project updates, communicating progress, risks, and decisions to sponsors and senior leadership. * Oversees the preparation of project documentation, including charters, reports, schedules, and communication plans. * Ensures adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks. * Provides mentorship and guidance, fostering professional growth and performance. * Drives continuous improvement by recommending and implementing enhancements to tools, templates, and delivery processes. * Manages change control processes and evaluates the organizational impact of proposed changes. * Adheres to the PMO policies and procedures as outlined by CHS. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Complies with all policies and standards. * This is a remote position with the exception of potential travel to the Franklin, TN once a year for a conference  Required: * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required * A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree * 5-7 years of experience managing projects of increasing complexity required Preferred: * 7 years of Technical Project Management experience highly preferred * Integration of AI with Clinical Application or experience in AI/BOT highly preferred * Prior experience managing technical healthcare projects highly preferred  * Prior experience with vendor management highly preferred  * Prior experience working with clinical data and operations highly preferred  * Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project portfolios or enterprise-wide initiatives highly preferred * Experience working with Cerner, Med host and Athena applications highly preferred * Prior experience in understanding of data flow, application integration, automation and end-to-end workflow processes highly preferred * Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI highly preferred * Prior experience utilizing Smart Sheets preferred  * An understanding of HL7 messages and data integration within clinical applications preferred   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). * Proficient in project portfolio tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar. * An understanding of how the user performs the job so we can build the BOT to replicate the process (strong in requirement gathering) * Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. * Skilled in facilitating collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholder groups. * Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to executives, sponsors, and technical teams. * Ability to work independently with limited supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities. * Proactive and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail.
