RevenueCat

Head of Customer Growth

RevenueCat•Anywhere•Full-time
View Job
Compensation$70K - 130K a year

Lead and integrate customer success, growth advisory, and enablement teams to drive adoption and success. | 10+ years in customer-facing roles with 5+ years managing teams and building scalable customer systems. | RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $12B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue. We’re a remote‑first crew of 150+, spread across 25+ countries, and guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. If you want your work to touch hundreds of millions of end‑users (and help the developers behind them get paid), you’ll fit right in. The role We are looking for a Head of Customer Growth to build and lead the operating system that helps RevenueCat customers become better app businesses. This is broader than a traditional Customer Success role. It combines strategic account coverage, app-growth judgment, specialist advisory, customer education, product adoption, and scalable enablement. The goal is not to give every customer the same high-touch service. It is to identify where RevenueCat can create disproportionate value, deploy the right kind of help, and turn every successful customer intervention into knowledge that benefits the rest of the customer base. You will lead a multi-lane Customer Growth function spanning the CSM team, Growth Advisory, Growth Advocacy, and the emerging Customer Enablement function. The CSM Team Lead will own daily CSM execution. You will set the strategy, operating model, talent bar, investment plan, and measures of success for the function as a whole. For our highest-value customers, this means deep account context, growth diagnosis, stakeholder mapping, product-adoption strategy, technical-account coordination, and clear next-step ownership. For high-potential customers, it means identifying them early and providing the right help before revenue has fully materialized. For customers with specific growth bottlenecks, it means bringing in the right specialist. For the broader customer base, it means scalable education through Growth Advocates, lifecycle guidance, office hours, playbooks, templates, product nudges, and eventually dynamic next-best-action systems. Your job is to make Customer Growth one operating system rather than a collection of disconnected activities. Why we are hiring for this role now RevenueCat serves tiny indie apps, fast-growing startups, games, media companies, health and fitness apps, AI products, marketplaces, and some of the most sophisticated consumer app businesses in the world. The app market is top-heavy, so the human touch must be allocated deliberately. At the same time, a customer that is small today may become strategically important very quickly. Contract status and current revenue are necessary signals, but they are not sufficient. We already have many of the ingredients: CSMs, a CSM Team Lead role, Growth Advocates, Customer Growth Advisory specialists, Product, Support, Marketing, Sales, TAM, Data, and one of the richest datasets in app monetization. We need a leader who can turn those ingredients into a coherent function. What you will be responsible for Own Customer Growth strategy across the full customer base. Define how RevenueCat helps customers grow after they begin using the product, including named accounts, high-potential customers, specialist-assisted customers, scaled customers, and the long tail. Build segmentation and coverage. Use current value, future potential, adoption, intent, growth moments, risk, and strategic importance to decide who receives named CSM coverage, time-bound help, specialist advisory, scaled education, product-led guidance, or monitoring. Lead through the CSM Team Lead. Set the bar for customer context, account strategy, stakeholder management, growth diagnosis, adoption planning, commercial awareness, and follow-through. Develop the Team Lead and create a strong leadership bench rather than becoming the permanent CSM manager. Identify high-potential customers early. Work with Data, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support to find customers with meaningful future potential before revenue alone makes them obvious. Govern Growth Advisory. Define intake, qualification, expected impact, output quality, follow-through, and reuse. Specialists should be deployed against specific high-value problems rather than become general-purpose consulting capacity. Make Growth Advocacy a customer-education channel. Ensure Growth Advocates turn real customer learning into authoritative one-to-many education for existing customers and the broader app ecosystem. Build Customer Enablement and Scaled Growth. Create the roadmap for lifecycle programs, templates, office hours, documentation, automation, product nudges, and next-best-action guidance. Drive meaningful product adoption. Partner with Product and Product Marketing so customers adopt RevenueCat capabilities in ways that help them win, rather than merely increasing feature activity. Create clear cross-functional decision rights. Define how Customer Growth works with Sales, TAM, Support, Product, Marketing, and Data without turning CSMs into AEs, TAMs into a catch-all, or collaboration into meeting theater. Build the customer-insight loop. Repeated customer questions should become product improvements, enablement, playbooks, benchmarks, documentation, lifecycle programs, and market education. Own the function. Set metrics, operating cadences, headcount plans, budget, organization design, executive communication, and the talent bar across Customer Growth. What success looks like Within the first month Meet directly with at least 15 customers across different sizes, growth stages, product footprints, and monetization models—including high-value, high-potential, at-risk, and scaled customers. Take point on at least two live customer-growth situations. Work alongside the CSM, Advisory, TAM, Support, or Product partner to diagnose the problem, agree ownership, and move each customer to a concrete next milestone. Ship at least one no-regrets improvement to a broken handoff, account motion, Advisory route, or customer experience rather than waiting for a complete strategy. Establish a clear operating agreement with the CSM Team Lead and act on urgent customer, talent, or ownership issues. Build a working view of the team, coverage, high-potential misses, lane boundaries, and metrics—deep enough to make decisions, without allowing analysis to delay action. Within the first three months Act as executive sponsor for a small set of strategically important or high-potential customers and personally lead at least two customer-growth interventions through a measurable milestone. Put the first version of segmentation and coverage into production on real accounts, then revise it from evidence. Run decision-oriented account reviews and a working Growth Advisory intake and follow-through motion. Ship the first scaled education or Customer Enablement program based on a repeated customer need. Make the first material changes to ownership, operating cadence, or talent where the current model is not working. Establish a customer-insight loop that turns frontline evidence into owned Product, education, lifecycle, or process actions. Within the first six months Maintain direct customer contact every week and own selected executive relationships while leading the wider system through the CSM Team Lead and specialist leaders. Operate a functioning multi-lane Customer Growth model with clear owners, live handoffs, and visible outcomes across CSM, Growth Advisory, Growth Advocacy, and Customer Enablement. Have the CSM Team Lead independently owning daily CSM execution, coaching, and account quality. Demonstrate measurable results from customer interventions and show that repeated one-to-one work is becoming reusable Advisory output, education, enablement, or product insight. Have shipped multiple scaled programs and made concrete hiring or investment decisions for the function. Within the first twelve months RevenueCat has a trusted, actively used system for serving high-value, high-potential, specialist-assisted, and scaled customers. Customer Growth produces measurable improvement in customer outcomes, meaningful product adoption, account health, renewal readiness, expansion quality, and customer revenue outcomes. The Head remains directly connected to customers and is a trusted executive partner for selected strategic accounts. The best customer work consistently becomes reusable product, education, and market leverage. The function has a strong leadership bench and a record of shipping improvements without waiting for perfect information. What you will need to be successful Approximately 10 or more years in Customer Success, Customer Growth, strategic accounts, Growth Advisory, product growth, lifecycle, monetization, or an adjacent customer-facing function. Five or more years leading customer-facing teams, including managers, senior team leads, or specialist groups. Evidence of owning an entire function or multi-lane operating model, not only managing an individual CSM team. Experience building or materially rebuilding segmentation, coverage, strategic-account, adoption, health, advisory, or scaled-customer systems. Strong commercial judgment around NDR, renewal risk, expansion influence, customer value, and executive alignment. Credibility with mobile apps, app monetization, in-app purchases, paywalls, checkout, pricing and offers, lifecycle, retention, experimentation, analytics, or a closely adjacent domain. Enough product and technical fluency to lead around a developer-facing platform while preserving clear ownership for TAM, Support, and Engineering. Experience managing both generalists and specialists. Evidence of turning repeated one-to-one work into scalable systems. Strong written communication, directness, and remote-first operating habits. Evidence of hiring, coaching, performance management, and raising the leadership and talent bar. Ideally, you Have led CSMs and advisory, education, lifecycle, or enablement teams together. Have scaled a customer-facing function through a major company-growth stage. Have worked in a hybrid self-serve, product-led, and enterprise business. Have firsthand experience as an app operator, growth leader, founder, or consultant. Have built product-led or tech-touch Customer Success programs. Have helped productize or commercialize an advisory or professional-services capability. What we offer: Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator 10-year window to exercise vested equity options Fully remote and flexible work environment 4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge $2,000 USD for workspace setup and $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning Curious about the interview process? Senior DevOps Engineer

ComPsych Corporation•Anywhere•Full-time
View Job
Compensation$90K - 140K a year

Own CI/CD and infrastructure design, leverage AI for automation, ensure observability, manage incidents, and coach engineers. | Extensive experience with production CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, programming languages, security, observability, and AI-driven workflows. | About ComPsych ComPsychⓇ is the worldwide leader in organizational mental health, well-being, and absence management, dedicated to igniting human potential in workplaces across the globe. For over 40 years, we have combined the best in technology with unmatched human expertise to help individuals and their organizations thrive. Our GuidanceResourcesⓇ and AbsenceResourcesⓇ solutions deliver end-to-end mental health, well-being, work-life, health navigation, and absence support to more than 75,000 customers worldwide, touching more than 160 million lives across 200 countries. Visit compsych.com to find out why 40% of the Fortune 500 choose ComPsych for their mental health and absence management needs. Job Summary We're modernizing how ComPsych builds and ships applications — moving to the cloud, standardizing CI/CD, and giving our Software Engineering teams the ability to build, deploy, and own their products end to end. You'll be part of our Cloud Ops team, working alongside your peers there and across multiple application teams to bring consistent, high-quality CI/CD, infrastructure, and deployment practices to the products we ship. We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who already works this way and wants to help shape how our engineering organization delivers software. This is a high-leverage role: your time goes toward infrastructure design and technical direction across the teams you support, directing AI to build pipelines and automation and validating what it produces before it ships. Primary Responsibilities AI changes what your time goes toward. You're still accountable for the full delivery lifecycle across the application teams you support — design, pipelines, security, and production — but your hands-on role in each shifts. Own CI/CD and infrastructure design across the teams you support. Architecture, deployment strategy (blue/green, canary, feature flags), and the specs that direct AI-built pipelines, infrastructure code, and automation — coding yourself when it counts. Decide what needs verification and prove it does the job. Pipeline tests, policy-as-code, and security gates are a design decision, not a default — you validate that they actually prove what they claim. Build shared standards with the rest of Cloud Ops, not one-off fixes per team. Work with your Cloud Ops peers on the common patterns, tooling, and practices that make every team you support faster and safer, and contribute your own experience back into what the group builds. Own application observability and unblock teams in production. Instrument the services you support, tie alerting to product SLOs, and help engineers across teams debug and resolve issues quickly when something breaks. Keep judgment and accountability human. Reviews, deployment calls, on-call response, and what an incident teaches you stay yours, regardless of who or what wrote the code. Raise the bar for how the teams you support work with AI, coaching engineers on specifying, delegating, and validating rather than treating DevOps as someone else's problem. Job Qualifications You already work this way. Agentic AI is your primary surface for planning and building CI/CD and infrastructure — you write specs it can execute against and catch what it gets subtly wrong, not just what fails a test. You've built and operated production CI/CD and cloud infrastructure at real scale (AWS or Azure), including carrying on-call load, so you know what good looks like independent of who, or what, writes the code. You treat testing, security, and observability as designed-in requirements, not something a separate function catches later. In a system that carries behavioral health data, “it works” and “it's safe” are the same bar. You work effectively across multiple application teams and with your Cloud Ops peers, building practices that generalize rather than solving the same problem differently each time — judgment AI doesn't replace. You have hands-on depth building application CI/CD and deployment automation: containers and Kubernetes for application workloads (Helm or similar), serverless functions, and one or more IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM) used in production, plus fluency in at least one modern language (for example, Python or Java). You build security in, shift-left by default. SAST/DAST/SCA and secrets scanning in the pipeline, least-privilege IAM, and encryption in transit and at rest are the norm, built within the compliance frameworks we operate under, including HIPAA/HITRUST and SOC 2. Compensation and Benefits Full benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much more The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 (USD). The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours. Director of Customer Experience Operations

Headway•Anywhere•Full-time
View Job
Compensation$90K - 130K a year

Lead customer experience operations including agent success, customer care, systems, and manage a large team while driving AI integration and managing capacity and costs. | 10+ years in customer experience or service operations with 5+ years in management and experience managing blended internal and outsourced teams and AI transitions. | 1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but most providers don't accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway’s mission is to fix this by building a new mental healthcare system everyone can access. We started by solving the biggest barrier to care: insurance. The admin work - credentialing, claims, payment reconciliation - is a nightmare. We've automated that. But we're going further. Over 75,000 providers across all 50 states run their practice on our software, serving over 1 million patients. We are building the best tools for therapists to run their entire practice, reimagining the experience of finding a therapist, and investing in the platform foundations to enable this at scale. We aren't just a billing layer; we are becoming the platform where care actually happens. We're a Series D company with $325M+ in funding (a16z, Accel, Spark Capital, etc.), looking for exceptional people to help us achieve this mission. We want your time here to be the most meaningful experience of your career. Join us, and help change mental healthcare for the better. Every month, tens of thousands of patients and providers reach out to Headway with a benefit that isn't showing up, a bill that looks wrong, a claim in limbo, or a credentialing application waiting on an answer. Each one is an opportunity to earn trust and strengthen the relationship, not just close a ticket. Customer Experience is responsible for resolving those issues and delivering a quality experience every time. Headway is growing quickly and AI is changing what support can actually resolve, which makes this the moment to reshape how customer experience works in mental health care and set the standard for what it should look like. As Director of Customer Experience (CX) Operations, you will lead the entire CX operation across Agent Success, Customer Care, Programs, and Systems, an operation of more than 100 Headway employees and over 800 partner agents, reporting to the Head of Operations. You will be directly responsible for customer experience at Headway and will represent the function to the executive team. This is a senior leadership role for a driver who can turn ambiguity into clarity, build a high-performing team, and create the support operation a fast-growing consumer healthcare business needs to win. What You'll Do Own the customer experience end to end. You'll set the standard for what great support looks like at Headway for both patients and providers, own the scorecard behind it, and be accountable for how the operation performs. Lead and grow the team. You'll lead teams across Agent Success, Customer Care, Programs, and Systems, spanning more than 100 Headway employees and over 800 partner agents. You'll develop the managers who run them and own hiring and performance across the function. Bring AI into the operation in service of a better experience. Automation should mean faster answers, fewer repeat contacts, and agents spending their time where judgment matters most. You'll co-own that agenda with our Director of Product for CX, decide where it drives the most value and what the operation is ready to support, and set the quality bar it has to clear. Own capacity and cost. Headway is growing incredibly fast, and support demand grows with it. You'll build an operation that scales with that growth: forecasting demand, staffing across internal and outsourced capacity, and holding cost-per-contact targets while quality improves. Build the engine behind great support. Training, quality assurance, the procedures agents work from, and the technology the team runs on are what separate an operation that keeps getting better from one that just keeps up. You'll own all of it. Be the customer's voice inside R&D. Every recurring contact points to something we can fix upstream. You'll bring that evidence to R&D, help shape where investment goes, and push for the fixes that remove support demand rather than absorb it. What You'll Have You have 10+ years in customer experience, support, or service operations and strategy, including 5+ years leading teams of managers. You have run a blended internal and outsourced support organization at the scale of several hundred agents inside a high-growth technology company, managing partners from the client side and holding them to both performance and commercial commitments. You own the cost line, not just service levels, and you are comfortable with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and headcount ownership. You have led a support organization through an AI or automation transition, and you can say why it delivered a better customer experience rather than only a lower cost. You know the CX landscape and tooling stack deeply, including what is genuinely cutting edge, and you're AI-native in how you work. You've rebuilt your own workflows around these tools and have a real point of view on what is worth adopting to transform an operation rather than just adding tools to it. You have partnered closely with R&D, using evidence from your own operation to influence what gets built, and you operate beyond your own function rather than running a siloed org. You care about the patients and providers on the other end of every contact, and you are motivated to advance Headway's mission to make mental healthcare more accessible and affordable across the United States. Nice to have: experience in healthcare, insurance, or other industries with complex customer interactions. Compensation and Benefits: The expected base pay range for this position is $160,000-$250,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level. We are committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package, including robust health and wellness benefits, retirement savings, and meaningful ownership opportunities through equity. Compensation decisions are made holistically, ensuring fairness and alignment with market benchmarks while recognizing individual contributions and potential. Benefits offered include: Equity compensation Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage HSA / FSA 401K Work-from-Home Stipend Therapy Reimbursement 16-week parental leave for eligible employees Carrot Fertility annual reimbursement and membership 13 paid holidays each year as well as a Holiday Break during the week between December 25th and December 31st Flexible PTO Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Training and professional development We believe a team's strength is in its people, and we cannot achieve this mission without a team that reflects the diversity of this problem – across race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, national origin, religion, family status, disability, military status, and experience. Headway is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals. As part of this commitment, Headway will ensure that persons with disabilities are provided with reasonable accommodations.
