The role is 100% remote, though local Mississippi candidates are preferred should the position convert to full-time permanent employment. POSITION OVERVIEW: The HR Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR and accounting teams during an HRIS transition and open enrollment period. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency and ensuring smooth HR and accounting workflows within a supportive, “no drama” workplace culture. Manage out-of-network billing cases including arbitration, submit and track claims, draft appeals, negotiate with payors, and report outcomes. | 5+ years healthcare billing and collections experience, proven TDI OON billing and FIDR arbitration submissions, strong negotiation and written communication skills, and ability to work independently. | Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Remote Medical Collector (Out of Network) for a respected healthcare organization. As the go-to expert for out-of-network billing and arbitration, you’ll directly influence financial outcomes, own complex claim processes, and bring your negotiation and appeal skills to the forefront.
