Within this role the incumbent will analyze actual financial data; prepare executive summary reports; create and manage investment tracker for respective category and sales channel; perform post-mortem analysis on promotions; and prepare monthly Financial Plan submission. The position will be responsible for managing ad hoc projects related to financial analysis for NCME related stakeholder. Role and Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Leads a team of finance planning professionals to provide daily/weekly support on NCME team and its respective sales channels Analyze actual cost data and prepare executive summary reports Collaborate with other team leaders to optimize investment spend through periodic reviews Create and manage investment funding tracker for respective accounts and category using: Actual data and implied estimates (sell in, sell out, inventory position, promotional and MDF program spend, contractual obligation spend) Responsible for building financial model on NCME promotional spending proposal via utilizing data available from various internal and external source Perform post-mortem analysis on promotions comparing actual performance and costs to forecasted - Identify and analyze variances; present analysis to NCME category leadership , GTM team and respective channel sales lead Liaison between NCME team and financial management team to support financial related requests Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements Consolidate financial target revenue and investment forecast plan and review with leadership for official system submission Respond to all NCME financial related requests and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience Must have financial acumen and be highly analytical with strong attention to detail Necessary Skills & Attributes: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company. Ability to manage multiple objectives, issues and projects concurrently through prioritization, delegation and hands on execution Ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives Experience in overseeing teams managing large sets of data, database and system development and management and administration of CRM systems and tools Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed Ability to collect and understand relevant market data and apply it to financial plan Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels. Applicants must possess at least 3 years of experience in the following: (1) developing system apps using C and C++; (2) Using scripting (such as JavaScript, BrightScript) to build media experience frameworks; (3) Employing Linux for deployment environment for TVs and server-side infrastructure; (4) Docker for deploying the application in Kubernetes; (5) building media player products using or on top of the smart TV operating systems; (6) fetching media from server URL and media playback using Media Player; (7) VOD (Video on Demand) file formats, m3u8; and (8) working with reporting systems keep track of requests served, impressions and clicks registered from the TV devices. 10% domestic and international travel required for roadmap planning and team building and in person workshops. Skills and Qualifications The salary range for this role is expected to be between $290,500 – $300,500/Year. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
