Role and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Policy Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among Samsung’s diverse business units to address cross-cutting policy issues. Serve as a liaison between the U.S. and Korean public affairs teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and congressional offices relevant to Samsung’s business interests. Gather and analyze policy-related information to inform strategic business decisions. Policy Issue Management: Proactively address policy challenges, including regulatory risks, foreign direct investment, and legislative hurdles. Develop actionable engagement strategies for core policy issues. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of policy challenges and opportunities. Reporting and Insights: Prepare clear, timely bilingual (English/Korean) reports that synthesize complex policy developments into actionable insights for management. Maximizing Value: Assist in optimizing Samsung’s portfolio of policy-related memberships, sponsorships, and associations to enhance strategic value. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. The salary range for this role at the Senior Manager level is expected to be between $150,000 and $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
