Responsibilities: • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction by ensuring seamless operations across all area stores. • Act as a mentor and coach to Store Managers, providing the guidance necessary for team development. • Enforce company visual and operational standards to ensure merchandise is presented correctly and professionally. • Stay actively involved in daily operations, moving between locations as needed to address business priorities. • Take initiative on special projects and tasks that improve the regional bottom line. • Promote a "safety first" culture by monitoring the sales floor for hazards and maintaining clear emergency exits. • Foster a respectful and inclusive workplace through courteous interactions with all staff and visitors. • Utilize company recognition tools to boost morale and celebrate significant team milestones. • Step in to assist with front-end tasks, such as ringing up sales or providing product information, during peak times. • Represent the Ross brand with integrity, serving as a professional ambassador at all times. • Oversee store presentation and cleanliness, including necessary custodial tasks to maintain a welcoming environment. • Coordinate the rapid transition of new inventory from the stockroom to the sales floor according to merchandising guides. • Execute loss prevention strategies and ensure strict adherence to merchandise protection protocols. • Manage sensitive data, including cash and credit information, with the highest level of confidentiality and honesty. • Ensure all financial procedures, specifically Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) and cash handling, are followed precisely. • Optimize operational workflows by identifying and removing inefficiencies to maximize labor productivity. • Focus on talent management by identifying high-potential associates and working to retain top performers. • Maintain transparent communication lines to ensure all corporate initiatives are understood and executed.
