Location is 183 & Amon Carter area. Sun-Thurs Mon-Fri POSITION SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for pulling merchandise from shelves to fulfill orders. Additional secondary responsibilities of this position are to shelve merchandise, assist with small package orders and large package orders. REGULAR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows directions from the voice inventory software system known as Jennifer for placing items in the appropriate tote or location throughout the warehouse. Picks merchandise by scanning the license plate number (LPN) for customer orders to grey totes as Jennifer directs. Shelves merchandise by scanning the license plate number on the red and yellow totes. Keeps warehouse safe, organized, and clean. Scans large packages into cart and assign orders. Picks merchandise as directed by Jennifer. Assists with shelving pallets and totes. Assists in taking inventory on a quarterly basis or as needed. Operates a forklift or other powered equipment, if applicable. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to effectively listen and follow specific directions. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to read and write and effectively communicate with others. This individual must have basic math skills. This position requires a person to be on their feet working in a fast paced warehouse environment throughout day. Normal hearing is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
