Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct training needs analyses to identify user training requirements for new mission planning software features. Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials such as handouts, quick-reference guides, and multimedia training content. Deliver classroom, on-site, and virtual training sessions for Air Mobility Command personnel and mission planning system users. Update and maintain training materials to reflect the latest MPS software releases and ensure accuracy over time. Coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication. Support the government’s ability to record and reproduce training sessions and materials for future reuse. Ensure all training content is government-owned, accurate, and compliant with standards. Collect and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Training & Development is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in training development and delivery for defense or complex technical systems. Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD software training programs, preferably in mission planning or aviation systems. Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver both classroom and online training courses. Must Have Experience With: Instructional design methodologies (ADDIE or similar). Roles and Responsibilities: Provide leadership and management oversight for all contractor personnel supporting AMC/A5/8 mission planning modernization efforts. Link operational requirements to technical integration, ensuring that MAF user needs are aligned with system capabilities and interoperability goals. Support matrixed teams across AMC, AFLCMC, developers, and functional users by providing recommendations on scope, requirements, and system interoperability. Serve as the primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and AMC leadership for all matters related to contract performance.
