The Courseware Developer / Instructor will deliver classroom and simulator-based instruction for various missile warning systems and develop and maintain training curriculum. They will ensure training programs are current and aligned with operational requirements.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in curriculum development and instruction. Familiarity with specific missile warning systems and an active TS/SCI clearance are also required.

This position will provide advanced curriculum development and instructional delivery for space-based and ground missile warning weapon systems. The Courseware Developer / Instructor will ensure training programs remain current, relevant, and aligned to Mission Delta 4 operational requirements, enabling the U.S. Space Force to maintain space superiority and mission readiness. Key Duties & Responsibilities Deliver classroom and simulator-based instruction for Qualification Training (QT), Difference Training (DT), and Combat Training (CT) courses across SBIRS, OBAC, JTAGS, S2E2, and UEWR systems. Provide Instructor Qualification Course (IQC), Simulator Instruction Course (SIC), and Instructional Systems Development (ISD) instruction. Develop and maintain curriculum, lesson plans, instructional media, knowledge/performance tests, and training scenarios in accordance with USSF standards. Review and update training materials annually or as required following procedural or simulator software changes. Assist in training simulator requirements definition, validation, and deficiency identification. Maintain familiarity with USSF training regulations, evaluations documentation, and Ready Spacecrew Program standards. Support the development of Plans of Instruction (POIs), Training and Evaluation Performance Standards (TEPS), Master Task Lists (MTLs), and associated training documentation. Coordinate with Mission Delta 4 leadership to ensure training aligns with force presentation cycles and operational readiness needs. Provide training simulator administration and verification/validation event support. Document training activities, maintain accurate student records, and support reporting requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of curriculum development and instruction experience. 3+ years of experience with SBIRS, OBAC, JTAGS, S2E2, or UEWR weapon systems and crew positions. Demonstrated expertise in Instructional System Design (ISD). Experience using Standard Space Trainer (SST) or similar simulators. Familiarity with USSF training and evaluation regulations and documentation. Active TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Certifications / Experience Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Space Studies, or related discipline. Prior USSF/DoD instructor or evaluator certification. Experience with Mission Delta 4 weapon systems and operational training cycles. Familiarity with Combat Training integration of intelligence products.
