As Director, Relationship Marketing Strategy you will report into the Senior Director, Relationship Marketing Strategy and join a team of experienced marketers who focus on helping Merkle clients achieve their business goals. You will be a key member of our client account team and will ensure that the programs we execute are based on a deep understanding of our client’s business and strategic objectives. As a Director in the Relationship Marketing Strategy team you will demonstrate experience in planning across media and channels, development and management of campaigns that generate measurable ROI and have the ability to work across many of our core vertical markets (Insurance, Financial Services, Non-Profit, Retail, Automotive, Travel, Media and Entertainment, B2B, High Tech) To be successful in this role you’ll have a passion for problem solving, and a deep understanding of how businesses, brands and customers interact, with an advanced understanding of the rapidly evolving role that data and technology play in this relationship. You can identify business growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations to support the growth of client relationships. You Will: Lead the building, development, and delivery of strategic omni-channel marketing plans. Be a subject matter expert and translate new technology - particularly in the areas of 1st party data marketing and CRM - into new marketing ideas for the client. Show a strong understanding of differences in marketing to customers in different verticals and environments. Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives. Ensure meaningful client value is delivered through a mix of best-practice solutions, skills, capabilities, and original thinking. Collaborate with team leadership (account management, operations, creative, analytics etc.), and partner agencies to turn ideas into executable plans Identify key data points and measurements to show the impact of our approach and strategy on the client’s business. You Have: Bachelor’s Degree required. 8+ years of experience in data driven marketing – specifically CRM, email, online/offline media Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and how messaging strategy drives the experience 5+ years working in an agency or consulting firm. Experience developing solutions to support the sale of new services to clients. Hands-on skills using data and research to drive decisions –proficiency in Excel and research tools. Strong writing, presentation and client facing communication skills. Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations – proficiency in PowerPoint. Attention to detail and the ability to incorporate internal and external feedback on an iterative basis. Superior multi-tasking, networking, time management and inter-personal skills. Self-starter high intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasion skills. Comfort and experience working within a matrixed organization in roles with a wide degree of latitude. Average 20%-30% travel (contingent on comfort level of client) The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Create strategic, on-brand web copy in collaboration with UX/UI designers and marketing teams for digital experiences. | 1-3 years of advertising experience, strong digital copywriting portfolio, excellent English skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. | Job Description: Merkle, a division of Dentsu, is looking for an entry-to-midlevel Copywriter with a strong portfolio of smart and innovate copywriting, including examples of digital work and/or UX projects. You'll collaborate with UX and UI designers, digital producers, account managers, and strategic marketing planners to create strategic, impactful web content for a technology company and other clients. This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to advance your career at Merkle beyond the scope of the initial project. Employees must be based in the United States, and this is a W2 only position. To apply for this position you must submit a portfolio that includes examples of digital work. Responsibilities • Write smart, strategic web copy that is on-brand and on brief • Work in partnership with UX leads, visual designers and other copywriters to execute digital experiences • Manage versioning of copy decks and other assets • Present work to colleagues and clients • Graciously accept and implement feedback • Help craft copy for presentation decks, online advertising, pitches, and other projects where needed Qualifications: • A strong copywriting portfolio, including examples of digital work • Excellent command of the English language, with impeccable grammar skills and strong, consistent use of punctuation • Borderline-maniacal attention to detail • A passion for user experience design, with an appetite for collaborating with UX and UI designers and creating innovative web experiences • 1-3 years of advertising experience (school and internships count!) • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Advertising, or ad school certificate, or equivalent experience Nice-To-Haves: • Experience working in Figma or Adobe Creative Suite • Knowledge of or experience with tech brands The hourly pay range for this position is $33.10 - $54.11. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
