Role Purpose: We are seeking an experienced a Temporary Associate Creative Director (ART), Editorial Content to join the team to support a mass retail client. This is an exciting opportunity to be a strong contributor to the visuals and art direction for a large program, finding creative ways to implement a new aspirational, editorial look and feel that excels across both print and digital formats. If you have a strong editorial and/or catalog design background, experience briefing and directing photoshoots, especially in the home/lifestyle/retail categories, and are looking for an exciting opportunity, you could be a great fit for this role. Key Responsibilities: You Will: Collaborate with the Creative Director and team in project from mockups through final press-ready files, working on everything from big-picture concepts to detailed tasks. Understand the brand's tone and positioning and translate into compelling editorial visuals and a new look and feel to be implemented in catalogs, direct mail, and promotional materials. Collaborate with the design and content team to concept ideas in a visual-forward, editorial-minded way. Supervise and attend photoshoots, capturing assets on-set that will work across channels (print + digital). Create and communicate ideas and present work to client clearly and professionally through various stages of deliverables. Qualifications: 7+ years Strong design background and portfolio showing editorial, branded content and/or catalog design On-set photoshoot experience Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced position Interested in working in a highly collaborative role Client-facing experience Digital design portfolio Sketching skills (digital or by hand) Photo retouching skills Additional Information: The hourly pay range for this position is $44.13 - $71.64. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factor, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
