Job Summary: Working as a Sr. HR Generalist with the HR New Business team, you will partner with HR peers, Operations Leaders and new client liaison to oversee the people transition within all new business openings. This will include a planning, implementation, and follow up stage, to ensure continuity of HR processes and procedures throughout the transition “go-live.” Your goal will be to ensure these processes and procedures are contributing to the overall success and retention of the new business and transitioning associates. Responsibilities: • Successfully project manage the people portion of new account transitions, end-to-end • Serve as a strong partner to regional operational leadership and senior level clients on transition activities • Facilitate all new business pre-transition activity such as ordering tablets, entering position requisitions, setting up background check requirements, reserving onboarding space, etc. • Review client contract & work with background check support to ensure appropriate background screening requirements are set up in Frist Advantage to meet the client requirements • Lead Town Hall Announcements and associated messaging to introduce impacted associates to our company, inform them about upcoming transition activities, and reassure them during the period of change • Demonstrate confidence and quick thinking when presenting to large groups of associates and client partners • Coordinate and conduct transitioning associate onboarding activities. This includes employee meetings, where the employee will post for a job requisition, fill out new hire paperwork (electronically), and complete required pre-employment screening • Process, set up, and train others on completing associate I9’s • Confidently present our benefit offerings to clients and transitioning associates and complete side by side benefit analyses to compare benefit plans where applicable • Assist in recruitment efforts for new business, specifically in situations of high vacancy rates • Assist account with HR set up in preparation for all future compliance initiatives such a required employment posters, file audits, payroll, hiring, training, etc. • Coordinate all management team training to ensure new managers are self-sufficient on all aspect of recruiting, hiring and onboarding new associates • Review onboarding process regularly to evaluate opportunities for process improvements or innovations • Act as a team player, contributing to the success of each team effort Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or 2-4 years multi-unit HR generalist experience. • Demonstrated ability to perform above duties in fast paced, self-directed environment.
