Design and deliver training programs for new platforms, facilitate coaching and onboarding, support user adoption, and maintain training content. | 7+ years in training or related fields, proficiency with specific legal software platforms, experience with instructional design and LMS, and preferably law firm training experience. | We’re seeking an experienced Learning & Development Project Manager to support a Boston-based law firm with critical training and development needs. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering training, onboarding, and user support following the recent rollout of three new platforms: NetDocuments, Elite 3E, and Rocket Matter/Rocket Pro Forma. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Start Date: Mid-to-late October Duration: 3 months with possible extension Hours: 35 hours per week; 9am - 5pm ET Location: Preferably onsite in Boston, though remote may be considered for the right consultant Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deliver training programs and materials for new platforms (NetDocuments, Elite 3E, RocketProforma) • Facilitate 1:1 coaching, small group sessions, lunch-and-learns, and instructor-led training • Support onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing user support for staff and attorneys • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership to align training strategies with adoption goals • Develop communications and collateral to promote platform adoption • Collaborate with internal team members to share workload and align initiatives • Maintain and update training content within the learning management system Experience Required: • 7+ years in training, instructional design, internal communications, change management, or project coordination • Proficiency with NetDocuments, Elite 3E, and Rocket Pro Forma • Proven ability to design and implement effective instructor-led, virtual, and blended training programs • Experience developing assets with Canva or similar design tools • Familiarity with LMS platforms and content organization best practices • Prior experience in law firms or professional services training strongly preferred • Ability to provide samples of instructor-led training • Background check may be required The pay range for this is $60.00 to $70.00 per hour on a W2 basis. This role is critical in helping end users transition smoothly from one Microsoft 365 tenant to another. Clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation is essential to ensure adoption, minimize errors, and maintain productivity during the migration. Key Responsibilities: • Author and maintain comprehensive how-to guides for end users navigating the Microsoft 365 tenant migration. • Translate complex technical processes into clear, concise, and accessible instructions for non-technical users. • Test and validate documentation for accuracy, completeness, and technical correctness. • Publish and manage content on SharePoint, including real-time updates for breaking news, policy changes, or procedural shifts related to the migration. • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure documentation aligns with goals and user needs. This role is ideal for a highly skilled eLearning professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, can flex between instructional design and graphic/presentation design, and brings strong project management experience in eLearning development. The client currently uses “So What” training methodology but is open to other methods.
