Sr. Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer – Sales Training (Contract) Our financial services client is seeking a Learning Strategist & Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer skilled in creating learning strategies and also designing and developing blended learning Sales Training. In this role, you will design and develop a blended learning program for 401K B2B services to drive emerging markets and upskill Sales Reps more quickly. The client currently uses “So What” training methodology but is open to other methods. Some content currently exists in the form of policies and procedures but most of the sales training content will need to be created from scratch by this consultant. Deliverables: • Learning Strategy, Training Plan and Sales Fundamental Framework. • Design and Development of Blended Learning including ILT and eLearning modules with potential for some vILT. Training duration TBD during strategy phase. In this role you may be restricted from using certain AI tools and/or may be able to leverage the client’s approved and/or proprietary AI tools. Skills & Experience Requirements: • 10+ years’ experience in Instructional Design and eLearning Development and strong knowledge of adult learning principles, best practices, and current trends for engaging and effective learning. • Experience in Learning Strategy design and the design and hands on development of interactive eLearning, including multimedia, using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. tools. • Able to provide your own laptop and licenses if needed (client may provide). • Able to share samples either via a portfolio or during an unrecorded Zoom meeting with the client. • Must be skilled in the creation of sales training and be able to create most of the content for this training program. • Highly collaborative and excellent at working with internal SME’s and stakeholders. • Must be sharp, articulate, and able to offer ideas and recommendations driven by industry best practices and current trends. • Must be dedicated and deadline driven with a natural drive to create excellent work product. • Able to work independently and drive success. • Prior experience with retirement products a plus. • Background check is required for chosen consultant.
