Own the entire growth funnel including paid acquisition, email marketing, webinar campaigns, KPI tracking, conversion optimization, and AI automation. | Proven experience managing paid ads on Meta and Google with real budgets, managing email marketing at scale, AI proficiency, funnel optimization skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced small team. | The machine is built. Nobody is driving it. WeScale teaches print-on-demand sellers how to build real brands. Founder Chris Heckman has generated over $30 million in sales from his own brands, and the audience is already here: close to 180,000 YouTube subscribers across two channels, a free community of about 35,800, an email list of about 19,500, and just over 1,000 paying members at $199 and $499 a month. The webinar Chris presents every other Saturday closes about one in four attendees, against a 10 to 15 percent industry norm. Revenue in a webinar month runs close to double a month without one. Content ships. Community runs. And then there is the demand side. Paid ads have been dark since July. No newsletter has gone out in over 30 days. About 6,000 people who asked for a lead magnet never received it. Attribution has failed three times since August. Growth is about 44 new paying members in a webinar week and a handful in a normal one. The tooling exists: Meta and Google ad accounts with API access and spend guardrails, Hyros attribution, Klaviyo, the funnels, and a Marketing Hub dashboard, all wired into Claude Code. Chris built it and runs it between everything else. He has said marketing is the most important thing the company can do right now. That is the problem. That is where you come in. What you own Everything between someone seeing an ad and someone becoming a paying member. You report directly to Chris and work alongside Meg (content) and Joe (community). They feed you audience. You tell them which videos and posts produced buyers. Paid acquisition on Meta and Google, YouTube included. Retargeting first, then cold traffic into the Blueprint quiz and the webinar. Standing budget of $1,200 a day without approval, more when results justify it. Email, end to end. The list, every flow, every send. The weekly newsletter, the onboarding rewrite, and the 6,000 lead magnets waiting to be delivered. Every funnel's conversion. The Blueprint quiz, BuildMyPOD (about 580 entries a week, 5 to 7 percent buy), the Accelerator sales page, the webinar pages. The webinar campaign. Calendar, emails, retargeting, replay, offer window. Chris presents. You run everything around him. Last cycle 1,172 registered. The scoreboard. Hyros, Klaviyo, Marketing Hub. The 7am pulse in Slack, the Monday trend recap, one KPI line into the Friday leadership call. Tracking never goes blind on your watch. Testing of creative, audiences, and offers inside the guardrails. The AI command center. Extend it and build the agents that do the busywork. We scale with agents, not headcount. Not yours: content creation, community and retention, product, and Chris's personal-brand ads. Guardrails: offer, price, and public claims change only with Chris's sign-off, and only approved claims are used. A test that changes the offer, breaks a guardrail, makes an unverified claim, outruns delivery, or breaks attribution goes to Chris first. Everything else is your call. What success looks like New paying members grow every week, not just webinar weeks. Ads are on, profitable, and attributed, with a known and falling cost per paying member. The newsletter ships weekly. The lead magnets are delivered. Onboarding is rewritten. Free-to-paid moves above today's 3 to 4 percent. Webinar registrations grow cycle over cycle with the close rate protected. Within a year, Chris no longer opens Klaviyo, Meta, or Hyros himself. Who you are You have personally run paid ads on Meta and Google with real budgets and been accountable for the return. Managing an agency that ran them does not count. You have run email at scale in Klaviyo or equivalent: flows, deliverability, and a recurring send you were judged on. You have built and fixed funnels and worked with attribution tooling such as Hyros. You are AI-native. Agents and automation are already how you work, not a future initiative. Closest fit: community, course, coaching, or membership businesses that grow through YouTube, webinars, and email. E-commerce marketers fit if the skills above are there. How we work Small team by design. You do not need permission for anything except deleting something or making a rapid change. Go all the way; Chris will tell you if he needs 20 percent less. If a question is waiting for a standup, it waited too long. Ownership means finding who will do it, including an agent, not silently absorbing it yourself. All communication happens in shared Slack channels, no side channels, including for money. Every hire agrees in writing to four values: Set the Standard (we don't compete, we set the bar), Extreme Ownership (no excuses, no passing the buck), Radical Candor (the truth, directly and with respect), and Fiduciary Mindset (the customer's interest comes first, as if we were legally bound to it). The package Base: $12,500 to $16,000 a month, paid on the 1st and 16th Performance incentive: a percentage of the incremental contribution profit you create, capped annually, set in the offer Equity: 0.25 percent profits interest, four-year vest, one-year cliff Full-time contractor. Two weeks paid time off. No medical or retirement benefits. Remote, USA. US business hours with Central overlap. Every other Saturday is a live webinar campaign day. Start immediately To apply Show us what you have owned: the ad spend, the email revenue, the funnel conversion, the cost per acquisition, and what happened to each on your watch. If your first instinct reading this was to open the ad accounts and see what is broken, you are probably the right person.

Lead software architecture design and governance for complex distributed systems with AI integration. | Requires 10+ years software architecture experience, AI-first practice, deep distributed systems and API design expertise, and strong communication skills. | Lumen is the trusted network for the AIpowered world, connecting people, data, and applications through our expansive fiber network and connected ecosystem. We enable secure, highperformance connectivity across cloud, edge, and AI workloads for enterprises, governments, and communities. At Lumen, you'll work on infrastructure customers rely on today and build for what's next, where performance, security, and resilience matter. This is a high accountability environment where bold ideas drive real innovation for our customers, partners, and industry. The work is challenging, expectations are clear, and trust is built into how we operate. If you're ready to take ownership, deliver meaningful impact, and help shape the future of AIready connectivity, join us today. The Role Bring classically trained, broad software architecture expertise to the Digital Journey Architecture and Solutions team. DJAS architects have developed deep knowledge of Lumen's systems through years of embedded work - this role brings the architectural discipline, patterns, and methodologies that complement that institutional depth. The Principal Software Architect raises the architectural quality bar across DJAS's design work by bringing formal architecture practices, modern system design patterns, and a perspective that isn't shaped entirely by how things have been done at Lumen. This is not a domain specialist role. The value is breadth, discipline, and the ability to apply proven architectural principles to complex, multi-system problems - including the emerging domain of AI-augmented and agentic systems. Location This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S The Main Responsibilities Apply proven software architecture principles to DJAS design work: microservices, event-driven patterns, distributed systems, API-first design, domain-driven design Lead architecture design sessions and design reviews - challenge assumptions, surface tradeoffs, ensure solutions address NFRs (performance, reliability, scalability, observability, security) from the start Produce high-quality architecture artifacts: solution designs, ADRs, integration specifications, architecture standards Define architecture governance practices: what makes a design "good enough to ship" vs what needs more work; codify standards the team applies consistently Evaluate and adopt modern architecture patterns and methodologies - not just what Lumen has done, but what the broader engineering discipline has learned Apply AI-augmented engineering practices: LLM-assisted design, agentic workflow architecture, integrating AI capabilities into system designs safely and observably Architect for operational excellence: observability-first design, chaos engineering readiness, runbook-aligned failure handling Bridge the gap between architecture and implementation: stay present through delivery, validate that what gets built matches the design intent, surface gaps early Mentor architects and engineers on architecture fundamentals, design patterns, and how to think about system design rigorously Partner with cloud, IAM/security, and domain architects to ensure cross-cutting concerns are addressed coherently across DJAS's portfolio Challenge technical debt patterns where they emerge in designs - not to block delivery, but to ensure the team is making conscious choices What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 12+ years of software architecture experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of software architecture experience AI-first practitioner - actively integrates AI tools (LLMs, coding assistants, AI-powered analysis and design tools) as a routine part of architecture and engineering work, not as an occasional experiment. Candidates must demonstrate specific, current examples of how AI has meaningfully accelerated or improved their work. Classically trained software architecture background: formal education or structured architecture practice exposure (not exclusively developed through a single company's environment) Deep expertise in distributed systems: microservices, event-driven architecture, saga patterns, CQRS, async messaging API design authority: REST, gRPC, GraphQL - knows when to use each, how to version, how to govern Domain-driven design (DDD) and bounded context modeling Non-functional requirements design: performance engineering, reliability patterns (circuit breakers, bulkheads, retries), scalability modeling Observability architecture: OpenTelemetry instrumentation, metrics design, distributed tracing, alerting standards Security architecture integration: threat modeling, secure design patterns, data classification in architecture Strong written and verbal communication: can produce ADRs and solution designs that are clear, precise, and decision-quality Track record of delivered production systems - not just designs, but architectures that were built and operated Preferred Experience architecting AI/ML-augmented systems: LLM integration patterns, RAG architecture, agentic workflow design Cloud-native architecture depth (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - complements the dedicated Cloud Architect role Experience in telecom, network automation, or NaaS domains - reduces ramp time on Lumen-specific context Platform architecture experience: designing systems that other teams build on, not just end-user applications Architecture governance experience in a multi-team engineering organization: standards enforcement, design review processes, exception handling Contributions to technical standards bodies, open source architecture frameworks, or published architectural thinking Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Design and build backend and frontend product experiences with AI-driven workflows in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. | Senior full-stack engineer with strong backend skills, product mindset, AI tool fluency, and ability to work cross-functionally in a startup-like setting. | About Pivotal Health Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape. Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, they're often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools. Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement they're entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams. Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. We're building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey. About the Role We're hiring a back-end leaning Full-Stack Staff Software Engineer to help build new products at Pivotal from the ground up. This role sits on the AI focused Case Strategy, working on new product surfaces that combine software, data, workflow design, and AI to solve high-value customer problems. We're looking for someone comfortable owning product behavior end to end while being especially strong in APIs, backend systems, data flows, and the logic that makes great products actually work. This is a high-ambiguity, high-velocity role. You won't be handed perfectly scoped tickets or asked to maintain a mature product in a narrow lane; you'll help shape what we build, how we build it, and how quickly we can turn ideas into valuable product experiences. We're also looking for someone who is AI-first in how they work: personally fluent with AI tools, able to use them to move faster, think better, and build stronger products, and help the company get dramatically better at using AI overall. The problems here are real, messy, and close to actual customer and business pain, not speculative side projects. This team sits at the intersection of AI, product, data, and operations, which creates unusual leverage for a strong engineer. You'll have genuine room to shape direction and use both sides of your skill set: deep backend engineering and pragmatic full-stack product development. What You'll Do • Build new product experiences from 0 to 1 across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows • Design and implement backend systems that power product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows • Contribute to frontend product development in React-based applications, especially where product quality depends on tight frontend-backend iteration • Work closely with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped product • Prototype quickly, then harden what works into maintainable product systems • Build internal and customer-facing workflows that use AI, structured data, and software automation to increase leverage • Help define product requirements through direct technical judgment, not just implementation after decisions are made • Improve product quality through instrumentation, testing, thoughtful system design, and strong engineering hygiene • Use AI actively in your own workflow for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration • Raise the team's velocity by bringing AI-native working habits, practical engineering judgment, and strong product instincts Who You Are • A strong product-minded software engineer who likes building things that users feel directly • Full stack, but your center of gravity is backend systems and product logic • Comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments and can make good decisions without waiting for perfect clarity • High ownership mindset and enjoy driving work from rough idea to production • Care about product quality, not just technical elegance • An AI power user yourself, with strong judgment about how it can accelerate engineering and product development • A clear communicator who works well with cross-functional partners • Motivated by an environment where a great engineer can have outsized impact very quickly Extra Credit Experience • Strong backend experience in Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systems • Experience building product backends, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logic • Experience contributing meaningfully to modern React-based frontend applications, including TypeScript and React Router/Remix-style frameworks • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systems • Experience with GCP or similar cloud environments • Experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational software • Experience in fast-moving startup environments where engineers help define the product, not just implement it • Experience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains Why You'll Love Working Here We're a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubs-Los Angeles and New York-we remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description. If you're excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, we'd love to hear from you. Benefits Include: • Competitive compensation, including equity • Full health, dental, and vision coverage • Retirement savings plan through 401(k) • Flexible time off • Opportunities for company-wide connection and events Ready to Make an Impact? We're building something meaningful; and we want you on the team. Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and let's transform healthcare reimbursement together. Employment Information Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
