The Opportunity: The Platform Engineer IV will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable Windows/Azure platform solutions that support the development and deployment of applications across the organization. This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices. The Platform Engineer IV will work closely with software developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the organization's technical and business requirements. Day in the Life: Design, develop, and maintain Windows/Linux/Azure platform solutions that support application development and deployment Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure platforms including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources. Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and EntraID Directory environments including Manage Group Policies, AD schema modifications, and organizational units. Partner with architects to Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. Implement and manage identity and access management solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance. Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance while ensuring proper role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles are enforced. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and cloud templates to streamline platform operations and reduce manual intervention as well as provide self-service capabilities to the end-users. Write Terraform code in a manner that is secure and reusable Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide platform solutions that enhance productivity. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior platform engineers Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Relevant certifications in Azure, are preferred. Seven (7) plus years of relevant experience within Information Technology, specializing in Windows Platform, yet also experience in Linux. Expertise in designing and deploying Cloud Infrastructure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and load balancers. Strong skills in managing Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Terraform experience is required to automate deployments and operations Proficiency in implementing cloud security best practices, including encryption, identity protection, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with setting up and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Proficiency in virtualizing environments using tools such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM. In-depth understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, and load balancers. Experience with cloud-based storage solutions Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Strong skills in managing Windows & Linux systems, including scripting, package management, and system performance tuning. Identity and Access Management: Strong skills in managing identities, roles, and access controls within EntraID, including implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The Opportunity The Privacy Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all aspects of an enterprise-wide privacy program framework at the department, business, and functional area levels. The individual will work as part of the regulatory compliance and privacy team and be responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide related privacy policies/procedures, privacy impact assessments/risk assessments, metrics, enterprise-wide privacy training, and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy requirements. The individual must have good knowledge of privacy/data protection laws and the ability to interpret privacy legislation, laws/regulations, and advise the VELERA business and functional areas on how to bring the company into compliance with complex privacy-related legal, regulatory, and/or policy requirements. They work with leadership, including senior management, and are accountable for identifying key collaborators and advising on privacy-related legal/compliance requirements. This individual is part of the second line of defense on the privacy and/or regulatory compliance team and participates in council meetings. The successful individual will have credibility and be able to influence privacy matters. They have strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all leadership levels within the organization, as well as the ability to establish collaborative relationships within the company. Day in the Life Develops, improves, and promotes the privacy framework, in conjunction with the vision of direct leadership, and directs and coordinates the privacy program, including associated risk to the organization. Provides thought leadership, advice, and recommendations to managers and leadership. Provides strategic guidance and supports the business, functional, and compliance teams to assess, develop, and implement enhanced privacy controls and processes to support program implementation, oversight, and monitoring. Provides input to design and maintains ongoing privacy training to enhance enterprise-wide privacy risk management knowledge and culture. Develops insight and maintains transparency around privacy risk for managers, leadership, committees, and senior management on the performance of privacy program/activities within the organization. Acts as a primary point of contact within the organization for members of staff and regulators on issues related to privacy. Promotes a culture of privacy compliance across the organization through Policy, Process, and/or Procedures; provides guidance to resolve privacy issues brought up from business and functional areas representatives. Maintains, writes, and updates policies to ensure continued alignment with privacy laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which VELERA transacts or operates, as applicable. Examples may include, but are not limited to, privacy-related laws in U.S. states or territories, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Canada PIPEDA, Bermuda PIPA, and the California Consumer Protection Act. Monitor changes to privacy laws and regulations, and make recommendations to the business and functional areas, as appropriate. Maintain an awareness of industry best practices in order to ensure an effective and dynamic privacy framework. Monitor operational privacy practices to assess adherence to corporate policy requirements and provide assurance that relevant privacy processes are effectively embedded into the business. Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (‘PIAs’) to ensure that all relevant privacy changes are captured and assessed in a timely fashion. Manage the Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) process, including reviewing, validating, and responding to requests and maintaining a repository of requests and responses. Provide regulatory input to data incident management as needed, working closely with Legal, Investigations & Corporate Fraud, IT, and InfoSec teams to ensure appropriate and timely resolution. Review vendor contracts in partnership with the firm’s Legal, Vendor Risk Management, Procurement, Compliance, and Information Security functions, to ensure inclusion of appropriate privacy-related contractual clauses. Participate in the relevant compliance and/or data governance councils and/or committees, and provide input to leadership and/or other group councils, as required. Report on data privacy matters to leadership and key collaborators, appropriately escalating any privacy risks as required. Exhibit indirect leadership and influence to ensure that people, resources, and processes are aligned with VELERA’s privacy framework and deliver the required standards of performance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines required; preferably in legal, regulatory, or financial services compliance. Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or other Data Protection certification desired Seven (7) years of related work experience in the 2nd or 3rd line of defense, preferably in the 2nd line working in a financial services environment in functional areas such as compliance, risk management, information security, or audit required. The Opportunity The Senior Client Delivery Project Manager establishes and directs the efforts of the project work-team and related resources as required to plan, develop, test and implement projects successfully. Incumbent will assume leadership roles for assigned projects and coordinate all phases of operational implementation of project deliverables using established PMI project management methodologies. Day in the Life Leads and manages the project implementation lifecycle to deliver multiple projects and initiatives. Delivers effective, accurate, consistent communication to project teams, management, external clients, and vendors. Leads project teams. Facilitates and leads project resources through the work breakdown process to define tasks, durations, effort, and dependencies to establish a solid implementation schedule. Partners with technology leaders to understand interdependencies and lead time to identify project resources and develop a comprehensive schedule. Drives and coordinates cross-functional project team members from multiple disciplines, assigns individual responsibilities, and leads team meetings to ensure delivery objectives are met. Maintains project documentation; ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. Prepare and distribute project reports and communications; communicate with the technology team, project sponsors, stakeholders, functional area managers, and/or consultants regarding the status of specific tasks. Ensure various integration elements of assigned projects are properly coordinated, including project plan development, project plan execution, and overall change control. Develop a highly technical, detailed project plan including all work required to complete both internal and client-facing projects successfully. Act as the primary liaison and manage the expectations of key sponsors and client executive staff regarding timing, functionality, and business objectives necessary to support a successful go-live. Assume responsibility, manage conflict within the group, and provide final approval for the entire project on behalf of all stakeholders; Troubleshoot project issues and escalate them to upper management if necessary. Leads lesson-learned exercises and participates in root cause analysis discussions. Ensure that project information is communicated on time through communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure. Collaborate effectively with other project managers, various subcontracting partners, external consulting organizations, customer resources, contractors, and other 3rd party providers, ensuring the quality standards for the project are met. Facilitate project meetings, including project kick-off and specification meetings. The Opportunity The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst will support the ongoing development and execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, which includes risk identification, analysis, measurement, monitoring, and reporting. Provide necessary updates to Velera’s GRC platform and related analyses to allow consistent and accurate risk reporting. Provide advice and guidance to management to support the creation of key performance and key risk indicators while further supporting the early identification of risk trends. Prepare high-quality risk reports for Management. Participate, under the direction of ERM leadership, in the quarterly KPI and KRI reporting process. Conduct research into relevant indicators of risk for each risk category with a focus on leading and coincident indicators where possible; and, identifying issues for KRIs persistently out of tolerance. Participate in discussions with Business Unit Leaders and risk owners to enhance the key risk indicators that are aligned to the Company’s key performance indicators. Prepare documentation of the key performance and risk indicators that will comprise the measures supporting the Company’s risk appetite statement for review by ERM leadership. Under the direction of ERM leadership, provide recommendations to further promote awareness and affect positive change in the risk culture across the organization, while meeting the ERM objectives and alignment of the overall strategic goals. Stay abreast of emerging risk trends, industry best practices, and legislations in order to assess potential impact to VELERA. Maintain a comprehensive set of ERM tools – technology, policies, and procedures to analyze and report enterprise risks. Prepare updates to ERM Program documents for review by ERM leadership. When required, recommend changes to risk assessment and risk monitoring methodologies to ensure the Company keeps pace with the leading edge of risk management practices. Assist ERM leadership with the preparation of deliverables for board and management committees, executives, and business unit leaders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Information technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. The Opportunity The Client Delivery Analyst II supports the successful implementation of various complex financial institution debit and/or credit projects and initiatives. Incumbent will participate in client consultation on business and technical requirements. Day in the Life Meet with the client to discuss specifications, work with the client and vendors to determine project options, and facilitate meetings with key client personnel as needed. Manage integrity of financial information presented in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application. Configure processing flow for ERP functions such as AR, AP, GL, Assets and projects. Develop and design OTBI and BIP reports and maintain the reports daily as needed. Understand client business requirements; liaise between technical groups, and map technical files/procedures between systems.
