Provide guidance and assistance to the insured in coordination with claims. Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the goals of the company. Attend client meetings with the Advisor or Director Risk Management, when requested Assist co-workers in responding to client inquiries or processing work, when needed Manage the day-to-day activities of client accounts including, but not limited to policy review, changes and updates, contract review for certificates processing, preparing renewal documents, marketing and negotiating insurance programs, filing surplus lines, review leases, and financial statements related to the client’s insurance. Assists client inquiries via telephone and email, relaying information and follow up for timely service to the insured. Counsel and advise client on coverage and exposure, recommending and placing additional coverage, as needed. Actively seeks out referrals from the current client base to solicit for new business prospects; follows up to generate new business using prospect database and automation system. Cultivates strong relationships with insurance company partners is responsible for knowing carrier requirements and attributes. Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes. Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Demonstrates effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Following this development period, she will gradually transition into supporting operations analysis by assisting with reporting, process improvements, project coordination, and data interpretation under the guidance of Operations Analysts and the Associate Director. Key Responsibilities: Phase 1: Claims Support & Foundational Learning (First 6–12 Months) Perform routine claims support activities, including: Invoice intake and processing FNOL reconciliation tasks Phone and administrative support for claims adjusters Document review, classification, and routing Collaborate with the Claims Processing team to understand workflows, systems, and customer service principles. Participate in training and cross-functional exposure to build a well-rounded understanding of claims operations. Phase 2: Transition to Operations Analysis Data Support: Assist in collecting, organizing, and reviewing data from multiple sources to help identify trends in claims volume. Support the team by preparing basic analyses and summaries for review by senior staff. Process Improvement Assistance: Help with the rollout of new processes or system updates by performing testing, gathering feedback, and documenting changes to support increased efficiency within the claims department. Reporting Support: Generate standard reports and maintain existing reporting templates related to claims activity, team performance, and customer satisfaction. Assist with compiling findings for management reviews. Project Coordination: Provide administrative and tracking support for ongoing projects, helping ensure tasks stay on schedule and are aligned with department priorities. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across claims, technology, and other departments to support daily operations and maintain clear communication. Issue Escalation: Support problem-solving efforts by identifying and reporting claims processing or system-related issues to appropriate team members for resolution. General Support: Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned to assist the claims operations team. Assist in tracking department goals and metrics, helping ensure progress is monitored and documented.
