Our work ranges from proactive maintenance and rapid refreshes to full-scale remodels and strategic reinvestment initiatives. We are conducting a nationwide search for a Senior Project Manager who is deeply experienced in QSR and restaurant commercial construction and can independently run complex projects with minimal oversight. This role is for a seasoned, battle-tested Project Manager who knows how to own projects end-to-end, stay ahead of schedule, manage subs, acquire new subs, control vendors, and protect the client experience in fast-paced, operationally sensitive environments where excellence is paramount for us to keep generating new jobs with our existing QSR clients. You will be trusted to run your projects like an owner. What You’ll Own & Execute Project Execution & Delivery • Full ownership of commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout • Manage fast-turn restaurant remodels, refreshes, and facility upgrades • Protect schedules where shutdown windows, reopen dates, and brand standards are non-negotiable • Identify risks early and resolve them before they impact operations or the client Scheduling, Procurement & Cost Control • Build, maintain, and actively manage project schedules and critical paths • Coordinate long-lead materials, vendor-managed equipment, and client-furnished items • Track procurement timelines and proactively prevent delays • Maintain budget discipline and change-order documentation Subcontractor & Vendor Management • Source, manage, and hold subcontractors accountable across multiple states • Enforce quality, safety, and schedule expectations consistently • Resolve field issues quickly and professionally • Maintain strong working relationships with repeat trade partners Client & Brand Communication • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects • Provide clear, concise updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders • Maintain documentation standards required by national QSR brands • Represent the company with professionalism, urgency, and operational credibility Systems, Tools & Documentation • Use Jira (or similar PM software) to manage tasks, timelines, and accountability • Maintain clean documentation, photos, schedules, and closeout packages • Follow standardized processes while improving execution efficiency where possible Who You Are Senior-Level Commercial PM You have real-world experience running restaurant and retail construction projects, not just reading schedules. QSR Fluent You understand shutdown windows, phased work, health department constraints, brand standards, and reopening deadlines. Execution-Driven You don’t wait to be asked. You see issues early and handle them. Highly Organized Multiple projects, multiple states, multiple trades — nothing slips through the cracks. Tech-Comfortable You are comfortable working inside Jira or similar systems and using digital workflows to stay ahead. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience • Direct experience with restaurants / QSR / retail environments • Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously • Strong scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination skills • Clear, professional communication with trades, clients, and executives • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain highly productive in a remote environment. Preferred Experience • Multi-state project execution • National or regional restaurant brand experience (Chick-fil-A a strong plus) • Experience with Jira or similar project management platforms • Background in remodels, refreshes, and live-environment construction • An existing network of QSR or retail construction relationships (subcontractors, vendors, clients) is a strong plus.
