About the Role We are a fast-paced, high-performing personal injury law firm seeking a Director of Operations (or senior Office Manager) who can step in and immediately bring order, leadership, and insight to our growing team. You’ll work directly with ownership to ensure that: • Cases move efficiently from intake to resolution • Teams are aligned, accountable, and hitting performance benchmarks • The firm operates like a business, not a daily fire drill What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and manage attorneys, paralegals, intake staff, and vendors • Implement and enforce systems, SOPs, and accountability structures • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report to ownership • Monitor deadlines, ensure cases progress timely, and flag bottlenecks • Manage hiring, onboarding, payroll, HR compliance, and vendor contracts • Oversee firm finances: disbursements, expenses, projections, and budget adherence • Facilitate clear internal communication, consistent follow-up, and structured meetings What You Bring to the Table • You currently (or recently) manage operations at a personal injury law firm and can prove it • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience • Deep understanding of the PI case lifecycle, disbursements, and law firm cash flow • Strong leadership instincts—you’ve built teams, coached talent, and held people accountable • Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Filevine, Litify, SmartAdvocate, CASEpeer) • High emotional intelligence, clear communication, and business acumen • Comfortable operating with autonomy, but not afraid to ask the right questions Nice to Have (But Not Required) • Multi-location or remote team management • Experience scaling a law firm during rapid growth • Exposure to marketing, intake optimization, or financial modeling Why Join Us? • Competitive compensation (we’ll beat what you’re currently making—if you’re the right fit) • A chance to lead, not babysit • Strong ownership buy-in and commitment to operations • Clear path to grow into a true COO seat if you’re the right leader To Apply Send your resume and a short paragraph or bullet list answering: • What do you currently do at your firm? • What’s broken that you’ve fixed? • Why are you ready to make a move?
