RESPONSIBILITIES: * Integrate, design, configure, and implement Vertex tax software solutions for enterprise applications and billing systems for both sales Order-to-Cash (O2C) and purchasing Source-to-Pay (S2P) activities in North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions. * Develop and optimize processes for the ongoing maintenance of global indirect tax logic rules in tax engine procurement and retail content. * Gather global indirect tax business requirements and prepare functional specification documents for tax engine integration with multiple systems following the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). * Provide guidance and support to business and product areas regarding systems and process impacts resulting from changes in global tax rules/regulations. * Work with internal teams to prioritize system changes, feature requests, system improvements, and testing.
