What We're Looking For: • Prior experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, executive assistant, or professional office support role. • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently, stay focused, and manage priorities in a remote work environment. • A self-starter who is dependable, accountable, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. • Comfortable learning new technology and working within electronic document management systems. • Experience with legal case management software is preferred; experience with MyCase is a plus. • Professional, client-focused demeanor with a positive attitude. This role is responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and services, managing supplier relationships, ensuring inventory and purchasing data is maintained within the ERP system, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain department, providing leadership, coaching, and performance oversight. • Oversee purchasing workflow, ensuring requisitions, requests for quotations, purchase orders, and supplier communications are processed accurately and efficiently. • Monitor open purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules while proactively resolving delays or supply chain disruptions. • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to support manufacturing schedules, capital projects, maintenance, and customer commitments. • Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and inventory data within the company's ERP system. • Assign purchasing activities across the team while managing a personal portfolio of procurement responsibilities. • Source materials, equipment, and services from qualified suppliers while evaluating pricing, quality, lead times, and availability. • Solicit competitive quotations, analyze proposals, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms. • Issue purchase orders while ensuring all technical specifications, quality standards, and documentation requirements are met. • Maintain procurement records, supplier performance metrics, purchasing history, and inventory information. • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns, shortages, damaged materials, and delivery issues. • Expedite critical materials to minimize production interruptions. • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reductions, improved service levels, and supply chain efficiencies. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement processes and operational performance. • Perform other duties as assigned.
