Procurement Coordinator- CONTRACT Procurement Coordinator- Houston, TX As a senior member of the procurement team, the Lead Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the strategic oversight and high-level management of the agency?s procurement activities. This role focuses on leading complex procurement initiatives, particularly those using the Request for Proposal (RFP) method, and ensuring full compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations. Job Duties/Skills • Direct and manage high-value, complex procurements using best practice methods, with a strong emphasis on RFP development and administration for service and technology- related procurements • Review, refine, and/or develop specifications and scopes of work for agency solicitations • Lead the development and execution of solicitations from initiation to contract award • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) on procurement process and regulations, ensuring agency-wide compliance • Mentor, guide, and provide training to Procurement Coordinators and other junior staff • Contribute to policy development and serve as a resource for department leadership • Assist with contract development as needed to ensure compliance with the proposed requirements Key Qualifications • In-depth knowledge of governmental procurement practices- REQUIRED, including OMB standards • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in bid tabulation and procurement evaluation • Experience using financial, accounting, and purchasing software and project management • Extensive experience with complex service and commodity procurements HOUAC49 #ZR Interested candidates please send resume in Word format Please reference job code 135384 when responding to this ad.
