As an Senior Internal Events Manager at Vanta, you will own end-to-end delivery of the company’s internal events programs for company-level gatherings and team offsites, partnering closely with People, Finance, Workplace, and Executive Business Partners. The primary objective of the Internal Events team is to provide support for appropriate levels of in-person collaboration to enable all Vanta’ns to accomplish our shared mission and goals as one team. The internal events strategy balances scale with efficiency, ensuring each program maximizes ROI while continuing to inspire and connect teammates. In this role, you will translate strategy into repeatable programs and operational artifacts that make events reliable, equitable, and demonstrably impactful. You will be the primary owner for major programs (including team offsites), the steward of event budgets and vendor relationships, and the cross-functional partner who socializes and operationalizes the FY27 internal events strategy across all Managers, People, Finance, Workplace and Executive Business Partners. As a Senior Deal Desk Analyst, you will review and evaluate deals for policy alignment and assist with all aspects of deal management. As a Senior Deal Desk Analyst at Vanta, you will join our growing NAMER Deal Desk team as the primary West coast individual to drive the closure of deals while ensuring data integrity and adherence with business compliance relating to deal policies and revenue recognition criteria. In this high volume role, you will help to ensure deals are being closed in a timely manner by providing Pre & Post Sales teams with standard business process & policy insights as well as strategic and pricing support. You will also take a big part in driving strategic Deal Desk initiatives and help build the commercial and operational deal flow at Vanta. As Vanta continues to grow, it is important for our deal booking and review processes to be built out in a scalable fashion that can support the quick growth of Vanta’s revenue, Sales teams, and internal operations teams including Deal Desk, various Finance teams, GTM Operations, and Legal. What you’ll do as a Senior Deal Desk Analyst at Vanta: Review and evaluate deals for policy alignment, internal compliance, and booking accuracy. Support Finance teams during month end close and audit review cycles to ensure deals are accurately reconciled between systems and statement of record. Assist with all aspects of deal management including: deal approvals, deal configuration/structuring, pricing, and escalation of non-standard requests. Represent the Finance team in cross-functional projects to support selling activities, product releases, and process improvements. Act as a trusted advisor for Sales, working with Legal, GTM Operations, and various other business partners to guide deals towards closure and be able to have conversations about commercial aspects of deals. Educate Sales teams on process changes, policy updates, and Deal Desk best practices to improve deal velocity. Work cross functionally with GTM Operations, Billing, Revenue, Collections to improve deal processes while ensuring efficient, scalable processes. Provide analytical insight and identify trends into day to day metrics to assess efficiency of deal processes. Perform ad-hoc Deal Desk duties as required. How to be successful in this role: 5+ years of deal desk experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with diverse stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Legal, GTM Operations. Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Quote to Cash process for SaaS companies, having experience in both a subscription based as well as consumption based subscription environment. Strong organizational and execution skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to make and drive process improvements. Previous experience working with SaaS Finance teams with understanding of software revenue recognition issues, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 Strong analytical and problem solving skills to make informed decisions Ability to work quickly and make fact-based-decisions with imperfect data.
