Job Description Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale industrial construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service. Responsibilities: • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects. • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips. • Verify that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized. • Ensure application of best practice on all projects. • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are applied correctly. • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications. • Forecast and update key project milestones and budget. • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders • Rapid response to RFIs from the field • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers. • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities. • Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives. • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project are captured. • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction. • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team • Effective presentation skills • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools • Strong communication skills. Additional Information The salary range for this full-time role is $140K-$170K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Senior Preconstruction Project Manager to oversee the planning and early execution phases of EV service center projects. These facilities support electric vehicle operations and include infrastructure for charging, maintenance, and operational support. In this role, you will lead site feasibility, permitting, design coordination, budgeting, and early vendor engagement across a dynamic and growing portfolio. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple concurrent projects, and brings deep experience in infrastructure development, electrical systems, and municipal coordination. Responsibilities • Lead site feasibility assessments, including zoning, access logistics, environmental constraints, and infrastructure readiness. • Manage due diligence activities across multiple sites, coordinating internal teams and external consultants to deliver comprehensive evaluations. • Develop permitting and entitlement strategies, working directly with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies. • Coordinate with design consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure site plans meet operational, technical, and safety requirements. • Build and manage project budgets and schedules; lead cost estimating and pricing reviews with contractors and vendors. • Define EV charging infrastructure requirements in collaboration with engineering and operations teams, including power demand and layout optimization. • Coordinate with utilities and design teams to scope electrical systems, including transformer sizing, switchgear layouts, and service upgrades. • Engage early with EVSE vendors, electrical contractors, and utility providers to align on scope, timelines, and service requirements. • Review and validate electrical design packages for code compliance, utility standards, and long-term scalability. • Act as the central liaison between internal teams (engineering, operations, legal, finance) and external partners (developers, landlords, consultants). • Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle, providing clear recommendations to leadership. • Deliver project updates, business cases, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders. • Contribute to the development of design standards, permitting workflows, and delivery processes to improve efficiency and consistency. • Support integration of renewable energy, battery storage, and energy management systems into facility designs where applicable. • Oversee a growing pipeline of active and upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and speed-to-market objectives. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • 12+ years of experience in real estate or infrastructure project management, with a strong focus on preconstruction. • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. • Strong estimating and budgeting skills, with experience building cost models and schedules from the ground up. • Experience with EV charging technologies, including Level 2 and DC fast charging systems, load management, and utility coordination. • Experience managing electrical infrastructure projects involving medium- and high-voltage systems, switchgear, and transformer installations. • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes for commercial and industrial facilities. • Strong understanding of permitting, entitlements, and contract negotiation. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to leadership. • Ability to think strategically and creatively to resolve site-specific challenges and regulatory constraints. • Experience contributing to scalable systems, standards, and tools for infrastructure delivery. Additional Information The salary range for this full-time role is $160K-$180K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.
