Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost estimating within the retail construction sector or related industries (e.g., commercial, hospitality, or institutional construction). • Deep understanding of all aspects of cost estimation, including material costs, labor rates, and the integration of technology and specialized systems in retail environments. • Knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and industry standards specific to retail construction. • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, labor costs, and project lifecycle. • Proficiency with cost estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Buildertrend, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner. • Associate or Professional Estimator Certification (e.g., AACE, ASPE) is advantageous. • Full-time office environment, with periodic visits to job sites as required.
