What we need The System Field Analysis plays a critical role in driving optimal site performance from "go-live" through to the final customer acceptance stage. Senior Field Analysts serve as the on-site representatives, spearheading efforts to enhance system performance through data-driven insights and strategic problem-solving. Their responsibilities include conducting in-depth system performance analysis, tackling complex operational challenges, and defining and refining processes and procedures. Senior Field Analysts collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose defects, assess root causes, and develop innovative solutions that optimize system functionality and ensure seamless integration with customer expectations. What we do The System Field Analyst is part of the Operations organization that leads preparation and readiness efforts, tasks, and testing to ensure the successful implementation of the Symbotic system at our new customer sites. The Customer Site Deployment organization partners cross functionally and directly with our customers to drive and execute onsite structural and systems deployments, in preparation for final acceptance of the Symbotic system. What you’ll do Leading bot system performance analysis in support of improving Bot system rate. Identifying and documenting bot system defects to ensure improvement actions. Communicating and collaborating with technical and development teams to develop bot system defect solutions. Enter and update tickets via Jira, stakeholders via email threads, or commentary on Confluence. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols. Approximately 75% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness). There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure. You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground. Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. The qualified candidate will be responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. The candidate will also assist in problem resolution that is involved with the operations. What we do The Technical Support Team is part of the Service Operations Organization. The team is responsible for our system stand-up and continued operation inside our clients’ sites. The teams work together to enhance the client relationship by providing timely feedback and response to issues/concerns and finding solutions. Technical Support Teams encompass all aspects of our system from controls and electrical, to software and networking; if it’s production-impacting, Technical Support will be responsible for solving the scenarios at hand. What you’ll do Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems. Field incoming help requests from end users through a variety of avenues such as: email, chat, and CRM. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting. What we need We seek an experienced Principal Site Quality Engineer (RCCA) to work directly with our customer sites and installation teams to ensure quality standards are adhered to in all aspects of installations while acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement in our products and systems. This role will interface with suppliers, sub-tiers, engineering, program team, and sourcing to drive high levels of quality and field reliability in critical sub-systems and components. What we do The Principal Site Quality Engineer is part of the Quality team is part of the Manufacturing organization; which is responsible for driving continuous improvement practices of our systems' performance. Our quality team ensures that the products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Their primary focus is to maintain consistency in the production of robots and automated systems that meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards. The quality team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the entire product development and manufacturing lifecycle. What you’ll do Provide Quality leadership and support to the installation sites, focusing on identification and timely resolution of issues via structured quality methods. Analyze multiple streams of data related to Symbotic site installations to identify systemic issues hampering installation quality, efficiency, and the company’s ability to scale operations. Determine top issues to solve, evaluate effectivity of changes deployed. Statistical analysis of quality data including usage trends, pareto’s of product performance, Weibel analysis, life cycle analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling. Lead and drive problem resolution and disseminate status and findings across the organization. Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action process cross functionally to permanently resolve quality issues. Employ 8-D based Corrective Action request to deliver efficient and effective root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions that ensure there is no recurrence. Assemble and drive cross functional teams appropriate to the facets of various defects identified. Communicate issues across our operations team and drive closed loop problem resolution. Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methods to drive quality and process improvements. Drive data analysis of major performance concerns at sites, such as field return materials (RMA), downtime, suspects, and PDN. Set up and use dashboards to communicate status and drive partners, suppliers and vendors in the execution of quality system. Provide leadership to site quality personnel to efficiently execute quality SOP’s to identify and resolve issues. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required. Minimum of 12 years of Quality Engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing industry. Strong technical background in automation and material handling equipment deployment. Experience in all aspects of quality management: quality concepts/tools/methods (FMEA, DOE, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, GRR, 8D, etc.) Analytical problem-solving skills to determine root causes (8D, A3) and use of statistical analysis tools.
