People | Excellence | Change | Integrity | Co-Prosperity Role and Responsibilities This Business Development Manager - SMB PC Sales role will focus on driving business growth and expanding Samsung’s market share in the SMB sector, with a primary emphasis on business development and secondary focus on PC sales. The role will involve acquiring new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leveraging Samsung’s product portfolio to address the needs of SMB customers. The individual will be responsible for identifying and closing new revenue opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and ensuring an excellent client experience throughout the sales cycle. This role requires a growth mindset, deep industry expertise, and the ability to execute on account plans while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Acquire new business opportunities and grow Samsung’s market share within green field SMB accounts by developing and executing GTM strategies leveraging existing marketing approaches, product roadmaps, and customer insights. Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Product, Marketing, and Innovation teams to drive growth within the SMB sector, ensuring alignment across functions. Qualify, develop, and close opportunities within existing and new Samsung B2B accounts, positioning Samsung’s PC portfolio to generate leads and increase market share in target SMB accounts. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to effectively target and penetrate the PC market within the SMB sector, identifying target accounts and establishing relationships with key decision-makers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, providing excellent service throughout the sales process and proactively identifying new PC opportunities using various channels, including cold calling, marketing leads, networking, and industry events. Conduct compelling sales presentations tailored to address the specific needs and challenges of SMB clients, negotiating terms and closing deals across multiple routes to market to achieve and exceed sales targets. Research and provide key insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform solution development and sales strategies, ensuring Samsung’s offerings remain relevant and competitive. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Management Teams to drive ‘win messaging’ into the market. Work with the B2B PC Product Team and SMB teams to provide voice of customer feedback to improve PC products and SMB value propositions. Develop relationships within the MX B2B Team and SEA organization, serving as a subject matter expert in PC B2B business growth. Represent PC interests as a liaison between B2B and the greater MX organization, advising on leveraging programs for category growth. Industry Expertise & Relationship Building: Become an industry expert with a deep understanding of Samsung’s partner ecosystem and solution selling strategies. Uncover and solve strategic challenges facing SMB decision-makers (e.g., CIOs, CTOs) through tailored solutions. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with SMB end customers, influencers, and technology partners. General Responsibilities: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the PC industry and maintain in-depth knowledge of Samsung’s PC offerings. Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring smooth pre- and post-sales processes. Demonstrate extreme attention to detail in all aspects of the role, from lead generation to deal closure. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in business development, sales strategy, and relationship management within the SMB sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital transformation, product engineering, and solution selling, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to drive growth and innovation. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of solution procurement or B2B sales experience is required Knowledge and experience of SMB Sales 3-5 years’ acquisition experience with customers Demonstrated expertise and experience with enterprise mobility, mobility solutions, and mobile device managed Android devices. Meticulous attention to detail Outstanding verbal communication skills; candidate must be authentic, disciplined and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to executive level audience in marketing and technology Strong reasoning skills; ability to analyze data, trends and provide recommendations that drive strategic account/business plan development and action Microsoft Office skills – PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are a must.
