Position Summary Be a part of a team that has incredible control over highly complicated equipment in a fast paced environment. Seeking an experienced safety program manager committed to lead, guide, and report to their department on all safety related items. This role requires working in a clean room factory with Equipment/Process Technicians and other Engineers to support all 5S and safety related efforts for the department. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Compliance: Make sure that department remains in compliance with all EHS requirements and escalate to management when there are issues. Improvement: Work on various initiatives within the department and across departments as a Safety subject matter expert to improve the safety culture and safety execution of your team. Communication: Share safety information, progress, and concerns across department and with EHS. Reporting: Regular reporting to the department on key EHS items including safety metrics, status of action items, and progress to plans. Information Sharing: Send your department communications on incidents, improvements, and changes, as necessary. Recognition: Identify areas and persons in your area deserving of recognition, share with leadership and help identify ways to recognize. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: 3+ years of experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required. Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, IH, Engineering, or closely related field preferred. Certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM or ability to be certified preferred. Familiarity with General Industry OSHA Regulations and reporting guidelines. Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility. Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation. All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite. The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
