Oversee and validate the installation, commissioning, and quality of building management and control systems for data centers. | 7+ years in instrumentation and controls, project management, and commissioning, with experience in HVAC control systems and electrical power monitoring. | The Regional Principal DCIM – Controls Build Quality Engineer (CBQE) is a key on-site leader responsible for ensuring the successful, high-quality implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), PLC systems, and SCADA platforms for new data center construction projects. This role manages relationships and workstreams with key partners, drives standardization, validates system integrity from design through commissioning and turnover, and acts as the owner’s point of escalation for controls-related issues. The ideal candidate leverages a strong background in controls engineering and project management to ensure all controls systems are safe, reliable, and meet QTS’s stringent design and quality standards. Lead and manage CSI performance throughout all project phases, including calibrations, quality assurance, and resolution of escalated issues. Serve as the primary point of escalation for system integrator quality concerns and drive issue resolution to closure. Project Leadership & Management Onboard and lead General Contractor BMS Leads, CSI, and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) controls contractors. Support commercial terms and conditions review and evaluation. Coordinate and manage packaged equipment factory-installed controls audits and BMS commissioning audits, tracking deficiencies to completion. Facilitate large multi-stakeholder meetings and weekly cross-functional (XFN) meetings with internal and external teams to align on project status, risks, and next steps. Review, understand, and ensure project-level adherence to the issued revision of the DIV25 specification and all design deliverables. Quality Assurance & Standardization Drive consistency and standardization across all buildings, system integrators, and installation contractors, ensuring alignment with QTS standards and specifications. Perform BMS, PLC, and SCADA inspections (wiring, installation, commissioning) and validate project status and progress. Oversee installation and build quality of PLC systems and SCADA platforms. Ensure the quality and functionality of BMS and SCADA implementations, including graphical interface alarms, trends, and graphics. Provide on-site commissioning (Cx) support, including vendor calibrations and witness testing. Support the project benchmark and mock-up process to ensure consistency. Work with Construction Managers and General Contractors to ensure the creation, accuracy, and maintenance of logical schedules for all controls activities. Risk Mitigation & Continuous Improvement Identify and mitigate risks associated with controls architecture, including single points of failure and redundancy requirements. Support custom tooling and integration into construction processes. Support cross-functional program initiatives that impact controls delivery. Leverage project data to identify early finish dates for detailed design delivery. Documentation & Issue Management Manage issue resolution from identification to closure, ensuring all issues are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Support RFI creation, tracking, and timely closure. Document and communicate controls-related issues and resolutions to all stakeholders. Site Visits & Field Activities Conduct regular site visits to assess installation quality, commissioning progress, and system integrator performance. Provide hands-on support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BMS, PLC, and SCADA systems. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls programming/installation, general contractor MEP coordination/project management, and commissioning (mechanical and electrical) of data centers or other large-scale mission-critical buildings. 3+ years of experience with programming/designing HVAC control systems and electrical power monitoring. Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent) or relevant work experience. Experience with industrial automation and building management control systems (PLC/DDC). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – • Experience with Autodesk, CxAlloy, ACC Build, and Procore platforms. • Experience with PLC, SCADA, and OPC UA systems. • Certifications: cGMP, CAP (Certified Automation Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional). • Experience with Rockwell and Inductive Automation Ignition platforms. Manage site operations, develop capabilities, and ensure compliance with financial and safety standards in a 24/7 data center environment. | 10+ years in data center operations, facilities management, or related fields, with leadership experience in critical environments. | The Facilities Site Director II will be charged with providing the leadership, tactical execution and business acumen necessary to support the diverse site needs. This leader will have P&L responsibility and accountability for their assigned site(s) as well as own and implement the strategy and associated programs necessary to improve the P&L. Who You Are: The Development Program Manager (Q-Systems: Security) is primarily responsible for leading and managing Q-Systems (with a focus on security infrastructure) for design, pre-construction and construction activities across our portfolio. The Program Manager will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff and should have both written and oral communication skills commensurate with this level of regular communication. The Impact You Will Have: Q-Systems is a technology team within the QTS Development organization. Q-Systems ensures critical facility operation systems are designed and implemented per our basis of design documents to ensure our buildings operate per requirements. The critical facility operation systems include the QTS corporate network, facility network, wireless access points, BMS / EPMS control systems and security technology. Each of these systems ride on the QTS low voltage network. The Project Manager will interact on a daily basis with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff and should have both written and oral communication skills commensurate with this level of regular communication Program level support for network infrastructure deployments across our portfolio Coordinate with QTS network infrastructure and technology teams to ensure infrastructure meets the facility needs Support our Q-Systems team with network infrastructure coordination Manage port schedule creation for development projects Review project design to ensure compliance with QTS system standards and Basis of Design documents. Create and communicate updates on development program & project status suitable for executive level reviews. Effectively present information in a manner to support efficient decision making Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion. Continuously update a campus master plan to provide predictable statistics in a dynamic environment Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services & participate in procurement and project cost estimates Evaluate and level pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services Establish project schedules and manage teams to on-time completion Develop plans for product deployment and review/communicate plans with QTS staff involved Establish and maintain relationships serving as liaison with key QTS stakeholders Represent QTS Q-Systems interests as leader in OAC and low voltage meetings Review project implementations to ensure compliance with approved design documents, QTS system standards and Basis of Design documents. Create & build relationships that enhance QTS's ability to be a leader in creating the World's Most Valuable Data Center Real Estate Work with the internal development team to enhance project management processes and protocols Develop relationship with QTS Facility Operations Technology teams to understand their needs and deliver technologies that support facility operations needs. What You Will Need to be Successful (basic qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience Eight or more years of professional experience in building controls, security, and/or low voltage commercial design and construction practices and procedures from conceptual development through procurement to close out Experience with Microsoft Office suite Be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Average travel anticipated to be every other week for 2-3 days. US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts. Who You Are: We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our Development Accounting and Accounts Payable team, which is responsible for the accounting for billions of dollars of capital expenditures on an annual basis, managing monthly construction loan draws, providing detailed capital expenditure analyses and processing accounts payable. This role will focus on supporting and enhancing systems and plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of capital expenditure reporting across QTS’s REIT portfolio. The ideal candidate will also bring a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and a deep knowledge of accounting and project systems. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will automate manual processes and continuously improve reporting and system functionality. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and presenting project reports, status updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. What You Will Do: Serve as a subject matter expert in capital expenditure, project, and accounts payable systems and processes. Collaborate with Development Accounting, Procurement IT, and cross-functional business units to identify system requirements and improvement opportunities. Drive the automation of manual processes and workflows related to capital projects reporting and accounts payable. Prepare and deliver project reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management, internal stakeholders and lenders communicating key insights and recommendations. Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption during process changes. Support system configuration, integration, testing, and implementation initiatives for accounting-related systems. Ensure data integrity across financial systems impacting fixed assets, development projects, and accounts payable. Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support and training. Maintain process documentation and support audit and compliance activities. What You Will Need to be Successful: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in a finance systems or accounting analyst role Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and process improvement initiatives. Experience with writing reports in large ERP systems such as Oracle or Workday Familiarity with real estate development lifecycle and capital project tracking. Nice to Have: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present clear, actionable reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across finance, technology, and operations teams. Strong knowledge of accounts payable workflows, best practices, and their intersection with capital accounting processes. Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with a focus on continuous improvement.
