The Dermatology Health & Science Specialist is responsible for launching new products, deciding upon best strategies to manage business relationships, understanding formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within assigned accounts. In addition, the rep is charged with sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). We are seeking an experienced individual to drive architecture, infrastructure automation, migration and operational excellence. You will collaborate with HPC engineers and scientific computing specialists to develop scalable cloud native infrastructure that underpins modernization of the scientific computing platform. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Platform Architecture and Engineering • In this role you will design, implement, operate, and own robust and dependable infrastructure for HPC and ML/AI workloads in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP). • Lead containerization, deployment, and operation of user- and admin-facing HPC platforms (Slurm, Open On Demand, Prometheus/Grafana, batch and distributed computing platforms) across cloud environments. • Translate stakeholder input into robust, high-performance, scalable, cost effective computing platforms. • Partner with HPC specialists (engineers, administrators, and users) to capture institutional knowledge and manual processes in IaC workflows, transforming ad-hoc deployment practices into reproducible, version-controlled, automated procedures. Automation and DevOps • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure repeatable environment provisioning and scaling. • Create reusable Terraform modules. Develop and enforce standards. Be a driver for implementing and maintaining all cloud infrastructure using IaC tools. • Operationalize containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. • Own the full lifecycle of infrastructure management, from provisioning to operations, support, updating, and teardown of production computing platforms. • Perform troubleshooting, system analysis, and benchmarking to resolve issues and maintain a high-performance environment. This position is accountable for coordination and prioritization of regulatory activities, facilitation of decision-making processes, and oversight of information flow to ensure adherence to regulatory timelines and commitments. The Manager, RPMSS plays a critical role in partnering with regulatory strategists to advance regulatory and submission activities for assigned programs within the oncology portfolio. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Manager, RPMSS will provide comprehensive support to Pfizer Oncology's Global Regulatory Strategy Teams (GRST) and Submission Teams, ensuring efficient execution in accordance with program strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Develop and manage submission timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Identify efficiencies to enable fast filings and convert submission timelines into clear, actionable tasks with proactive follow-up to ensure on-time delivery. • Contribute to the design and implementation of processes that enhance workflow efficiency and provide guidance on best practices and procedures. • Organize and manage GRST, Submission Team, MCI and other leadership pre-alignment meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, material distribution, minute-taking, action item follow-up, and appropriate storage of all documentation. • Proactively identify and resolve project issues to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals. • Lead or co-lead projects, effectively managing time and resources for oneself, with consideration of impact on team members. • Develop and maintain templates, dashboards, team rosters, document reviewer lists, SharePoint/Teams sites, and action trackers. • Independently prepare comprehensive status reports, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations as needed for internal and external stakeholders. • Track and analyze metrics to support business insights. • Assist with onboarding of new team members and provide training and guidance for new project system users. Investigate and triage data pipeline issues (e.g., load failures, data quality concerns, bugs, and enhancement requests), and coordinate remediation efforts with all stakeholders, including Vendor, Digital and Business teams. • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable cloud-native data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. • Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and reliability. • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and efficiency. • Work with cloud-based data platforms and tools to manage and process large datasets. • Collaborate with the People Insights business team, data scientists, solution architects, analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. • Manage enhancement initiatives and the continuous resolution backlog, providing oversight to contracted resources. • Ensure data security, audit readiness, and compliance with relevant regulations (such as GDPR, China PIPL, California Privacy laws etc) and standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing support to end-users. • Utilize critical remote working features such as use of web-camera and teams meeting, schedule proactive sync ups with key stakeholders • Travel to various Pfizer sites as needed Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience as a Data & Analytics Engineer or in a similar role; OR a Master's degree with three years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience; Or a Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent. • Extensive experience in security, administration, operations, issue triage and troubleshooting of SaaS Visier People Analytics People Analytics platform and modern data engineering pipelines. • Extensive experience in managing and maintaining the Visier People data and analytics platform and security model, ensuring its smooth operation, data accuracy, integrity and security. • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably Snowflake or other (Redshift, PostgreSQL). • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, R, Scala. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Experience with data quality and data modeling. • Strong communication, collaboration and business consultation skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD and automated testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of data pipelines. • Experience with applying DataOps principles to improve the efficiency and quality of data workflows, including version control, monitoring, and collaboration. • Familiarity with microservices architecture and container services. • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop. • Familiarity with data orchestrators such as Airflow. • Working experience with different types of data formats. • Working experience with open-source data engineering tools. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96,300.00 to $160,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
