Lead and manage electric system planning projects including performance reporting, risk mitigation, client communication, and financial management. | Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of progressive project management experience in electric power industry with proficiency in project management software and excellent communication skills. | Job Description: • Independently lead project teams delivering electric system planning and engineering studies and/or solutions • Take ownership for overall project / portfolio performance and reporting; managing project costs, schedule, and scope within approved limits, including the development of recovery plans when needed • Ensure and document compliance with contract requirements, client requirements, and quality control standards • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project teams, subcontractors, functional leaders, and support personnel • Interface with clients and stakeholders to address issues, report progress, and mitigate risks • Manage monthly invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed deadlines • Identify and pursue on-contract growth opportunities • Contribute to bid preparation, cost estimates, and Requests For Proposal responses Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Organizational Management or related field • 5+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the electric power industry, or associated field • Demonstrated experience managing, reporting performance and mitigating risks across a portfolio of projects • Must be capable of planning, organizing, directing, and tracking technical efforts on project tasks • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams • Direct experience working with bid proposals and cost estimates • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, P6, Workfront) and MS Office Suite • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
