AGILE SCRUM MASTER/TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER DURATION: LONG-TERM CONTRACT SHIFT: DAYS Travel Required: NO JOB DESCRIPTION: Employees in this position plan and oversee the execution of projects and/or programs that are focused on technology implementation or upgrade of technology applications capabilities and solutions (e.g., enterprise applications, SAAS, internal infrastructure, networking, data centers, labs, etc.). They could also act as Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches to ensure the team lives by the values and practices of scrum by embracing Agile/scrum/Kanban/Lean principles KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Agile Leadership: Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for several e-commerce backend development team. · Process Optimization: Champion Agile best practices, coaching the team and stakeholders on Agile principles to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Coach the ART on agile software development and course correct any anti-patterns. · Program Increment (PI) planning: Ensure visibility and flow of features and capabilities from analysis, implementation, and through to release. · Backlog Management: Work with Technical Program Leads, Software Architects and Leads to maintain a well-refined (Sprint + 2), and estimated product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. · Risk & Impediment Management: Identify, track, and help resolve impediments and risks that may hinder team & cross team progress, escalating as necessary. · Tooling Expertise: Expertly utilize Tooling (Github; Atlassian, Xray) for backlog management, sprint planning/tracking, delivery execution, and release management. SKILLS REQUIRED: Software Development Lifecycle, Stakeholder Engagement, KANBAN, Continuous Improvement Process, Scrum (Software Development), Jira, Agile Software Development EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. · 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, TPM, Release Management or similar role within a software development environment, preferably with e-commerce or backend systems. · Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams. · Advanced proficiency with JIRA for managing plans, backlogs, sprints, issues, and releases. · Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa. · High level understanding of SDLC processes such has development branching strategies, QA processes, and deployment patterns · Understanding of e-commerce backend processes, APIs, integrations, and data flows is highly desirable. · Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is a plus. Exposure to AI/ML tools or concepts for automating or improving agile management processes (e.g., Backlog readiness, story creation, QA automation) is a significant advantage. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Exposure to Automotive domain - Previous experience with building and maintaining custom ecommerce platform is highly preferred. Evaluate and assess real world data for feasibility and strategic acquisition, maintain knowledge of industry data and analytics, and collaborate cross-functionally to support RWE initiatives. | PhD or Master’s with extensive health economics experience, 5-8+ years in health services research with pharmaceutical industry background, strong IT and analytics knowledge, and leadership skills. | • Evaluate comprehensiveness, representativeness, and fitness-for-purpose of RWD through feasibility assessments and pilot studies. • Maintain knowledge of industry-leading RWD and capabilities, Big Data innovations, and analytics methodologies with practical use cases across all TAs. • Contribute to the RWE CoE data strategy function by identifying innovative data sources in connection to enterprise data initiatives. • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors in sourcing of RWD. • Contribute to continuous improvement of the RWE CoE functional initiatives and change management by modeling desired behaviors to promote a culture of curiosity, innovation, and industry thought-leadership. Qualifications and Experiences: • PhD in Economics, Health Services, Health Economics, or related field. Master’s degree in Economics, Health Services, Health Economics, or related field will be considered if an individual has extensive years of transferable experience. • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and analytics methods for structured and unstructured data (servers, databases, data lakes, etc.) is required. • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in health services and outcomes research and the analysis of large multi-dimensional healthcare claims and electronic health records datasets. A minimum of 8 years is required with a Master’s degree in any of the required fields. • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience is required. • Ability to independently perform exploratory analysis of new datasets through pilot studies and feasibility assessments in support of strategic data acquisition decision-making. • Demonstration of extensive knowledge of the RWD ecosystem (vendors, capabilities etc.) and evolving landscape trends; with ability to continuously monitor the evolving RWD landscape, identify gaps, and make actionable recommendations for closure to relevant stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of external RWD / Big Data landscape and innovative use cases. • Cross-functional collaboration to maintain a comprehensive catalog of Enterprise datasets and RWD vendors repository. • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to translate RWE strategies into relevant and timely RWD tactics and deliverables. • An influential leader with demonstrated ability to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization; develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers for proactive problem-solving. • Executive presence with demonstrated ability to translate complex multi-dimensional concepts into layman’s terms and tailor messaging to diverse stakeholder audience. • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
