The Opportunity Join our growing Sales team as the trusted advisor who helps small and medium businesses strengthen their security posture through expanded KnowBe4 solutions. As Account Manager (SMB), you'll own a book of business where you've already proven value—now it's your job to deepen those relationships and unlock the full potential of our product suite. You'll drive expansion with customers of 25-500 employees, identifying opportunities to add seats, upgrade subscriptions, and introduce complementary products that genuinely make their organizations more secure. The Cross-sell Account Manager (SMB) position is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts and maximizing all sales opportunities within those accounts. Responsibilities: • Develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies • Contribute to designing solutions for complex business problems • Recommends solutions to engineering problems • Assist other team members by providing technical direction • Defines approaches and solutions to complex technical problems • Helps to translate KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans • Provides coordination across functional boundaries • May act as team lead for sub-projects Minimum Qualifications: • BS or equivalent plus 8 years experience, MS or equivalent plus 3 years experience, Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years experience • 3-5+ years developing multi-tenant SaaS solutions in C#, Python, Rust, Node.JS or equivalent language. • Experience implementing REST and/or GraphQL with Serverless services and/or Containers • Experience with Authentication, User Management, SCIM, SAML is a plus • Managing cloud-native infrastructure with IAC in a CI/CD environment. • Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases is preferred • Security first development practices • Solid understanding of Design Patterns The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000 - $169,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
