Role Overview: As an InfoSec Platform Engineer at KnowBe4, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting the company’s core information security infrastructure. This position focuses on enhancing security operations both in cloud environments and on-premise systems, ensuring robust protection and compliance across all platforms. What You'll Do: - You will design and implement scalable security infrastructure solutions to protect company assets. - You will develop and maintain security procedures and protocols for cloud and on-premise environments. - You will monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and operational workflows. - You will automate security processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. - You will conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. - You will support compliance efforts by maintaining documentation and assisting with regulatory requirements. - You will stay current with emerging security threats and technologies to proactively enhance the security posture. What You Bring: - 2+ years of experience in information security operations or platform engineering. - Strong knowledge of cloud security platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management systems. - Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with container security and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty. - Background in software development or DevSecOps practices. - Knowledge of network security architecture and firewall management.
