Role Overview: As an InfoSec Platform Engineer at KnowBe4, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting the company’s core information security infrastructure. This position focuses on enhancing security operations both in cloud environments and on-premise systems, ensuring robust protection and compliance across all platforms. What You'll Do: - You will design and implement secure information security infrastructure solutions. - You will develop and maintain security procedures and protocols for cloud and on-premise environments. - You will monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices. - You will support continuous improvement initiatives for security operations. - You will assist in the evaluation and deployment of new security technologies. - You will document security processes and maintain compliance with industry standards. - You will participate in security audits and risk assessments. What You Bring: - You have 2+ years of experience in information security or security operations engineering. - You possess strong knowledge of cloud security platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - You have hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management. - You are proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. - You have a solid understanding of network security principles and protocols. - You hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ (preferred). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-native environment. - Familiarity with container security and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
