Our client is adding a Sales Engineer that will be part of a rapidly growing automation and controls industry. This Sales Engineer will generate new business and educate customers, providing information about the latest industrial control products and solutions. Candidates should have a working knowledge and understanding of a range of PLCs, Motion, Drives, Industrial PCs, Distributed I/O, HMI and Microsoft based software. Required education/experience: • Bachelors of Science in Business, Engineering or related field from a four year college or technical school. • 7+ years' experience of successfully selling automation solutions with OEM and End User customers. • Understanding of PLC's, Motion Drives, Industrial PC's, and Distributed I/O. • Highly motivated self - starter with good organizational skills. • Plan promotional events, presentations, and maintenance of specific technology. • Advise customers on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of specific technology applications, as well as recommending training opportunities offered Preferred education/experience: • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or business and 3+ years experience as a Automation expert within a regulated manufacturing environment. • Team player mentality, but able to work independently as required • Experience with Windows, Windows Networking and Microsoft Applications.

This is a high-impact hybrid role ideal for candidates with deep manufacturing cost experience and a strong understanding of ERP systems and inventory control. What You’ll Do: Financial Costing & Analysis • Maintain and evaluate BOMs and standards in line with corporate production policies • Analyze purchase prices, variances, and inventory cost trends • Support month-end close, journal entries, and inventory reconciliations • Investigate and explain inventory losses • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting for inventory-related expenses • Assist with maintaining ERP data (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and expanding system capabilities Inventory & Operational Support • Help document and validate internal controls, inventory procedures, and compliance • Develop expertise in D365 and its integration with MES systems • Provide inventory cost reports and ad hoc insights to support operational decision-making Cross-functional Collaboration • Serve as a liaison between Finance and Operations to validate costing strategies • Participate in cost forecasting and operational KPI development • Support physical inventory counts and budget planning with minimal out-of-state travel What Success Looks Like: • Recognized subject matter expert on inventory and product costing • Trusted partner to manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams • Proactively delivers analysis and insights to improve financial accuracy and decision-making • Demonstrates initiative, consistency, and innovation in all aspects of the role Who You Are: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of inventory cost accounting and variance analysis • Experience forecasting raw material costs and understanding operational KPIs • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, logical functions) • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels of an organization • Must be local to Dallas and comfortable with a hybrid schedule Highly Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or Microsoft AX) • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Office Scripts, VBA, or macros • Background in the food manufacturing or building materials sectors Why Join?
