Manage personal lines insurance account renewals and daily service tasks, communicate with insured clients, and generate new business commissions. | Active P & C insurance license, 2+ years independent insurance agency experience with Northwest carriers, dedicated home office with reliable internet, and preferably Pacific Northwest residency. | This is a great role for a P & C licensed Personal Lines Account Manager with 2+ years of independent insurance agency experience who wants to work from home with set west coast hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. My client is a P & C agency in a rural area of Oregon. They have great reviews from customers, and they are a fun group to work with. They want to hire an experienced P & C licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who can manage the existing book renewals and do daily service task on current accounts. Communication will be on the phone or via email for this role. You will contact insured 60 days prior to renewal and will go over options based on market appetites, any new claims activity, and any milestones the insured may have had since the last renewal period. You will also have the opportunity to earn 50% of the agency’s commissions on 1st year for any completely new business you write from personal referrals. Existing Personal Lines Account Managers are averaging $500 or more commission per month. There is an assistant who handles non-licensed tasks to help with overall agency workload. The agency is on EZlynx and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal communications. They will provide all IT needed to do the job and will provide training on internal agency management systems. You will be working with preferred package Carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, and Travelers. You will work from home with Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match. Candidates need to have an active P & C insurance license, a distraction free dedicated home office with reliable upload/down speed, and at least 2 years of independent insurance agency experience (not a call center setting) with insureds in the Northwest specifically with Safeco, Travelers, Progressive, and other Pacific Northwest Carriers. The agency client prefers candidates who live in the Pacific Northwest, OR, WA, or ID to make it easy to work with the existing West Coast team. Experience with EZLynx is a huge plus. My client is a P & C agency in the rural Portland, Oregon area. This Account Manager role is 50/50% split between Personal Lines and Small Commercial Lines. You will be paid a salary and 50% of the agency’s 1st year commissions on any new business lines you sell. You will be handling renewals and will be the main point of contact for your customers. You will be supported by a certificate rep which will free you up to work in a client facing role with insureds. You will work your daily task list for renewals with existing customers. Communication will be over the phone and on email. The goal is to go over the renewal questionnaire with the insured, figure out if the current risk program is adaquate for their needs, remarket if needed to obtain better rates/coverage, and handle day to day service needs for additions/changes. You will also help with claims advocacy and billing issues as needed. The agency is on EZLynx agency management system and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal communications. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match. All IT will be provided for the role. My client is a growing Pacific Northwest based insurance brokerage. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager who can handle renewals/remarketing on a generalist book of 2.2 M Premium book of mostly admitted small business with premium $20,000 or less. You will also help answer questions/mentor as needed from junior staff. You will have 1 Commercial Associate assigned to you to help with more junior processing tasks. They use EPIC and Patra for policy checking. You will have full autonomy over these house accounts which have been with the brokerage for many years. This is a fast-paced book requiring proficiency with EPIC and knowledge of Pacific Northwest Carriers/Underwriter's small business appetites. You will work Pacific Coast hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri. All IT will be shipped to you. The company offers a rich benefits package including profit sharing bonus opportunities and paid continuing education to enhance career growth. This is an ideal role for a candidate who knows EPIC, who has some small business account manager experience in an independent agency who wants to manage their own book and eventually grow into larger accounts or into a Team Lead role as their coverage knowledge develops. The Commercial Lines Team Director is an excellent manager and coach and is very experienced with remote staff. In order to be considered for this role, candidates MUST have ALL of the following: 1. Active P & C License 2. My client is a 20 year old boutique insurance agency that specializes in employee benefits. Due to growth, they want to add an additional account manager. You will be able to work from home however, you must live in WA State and be proficient with WA State Medical Carriers and Association wholesaler programs and trusts. You will have about 40 groups and will be handling all parts of the renewal including spreading rates and the employee meeting. These groups are 50 lives or less and are WA State based. You need to have an active Life & Disability insurance license, have at least 3 years of benefits account manager experience at the retail agency level, and you must live in WA state to be eligible to work remotely. (The only exception would be for a candidate who recently moved out of state but lived in WA previously and knows the WA Carrier market). Knowledge of Wired Quote and Employee Navigator are required.
