Must have active P & C insurance license, 2+ years independent insurance agency experience with Northwest carriers, reliable home office, and preferably experience with EZLynx.
This is a great role for a P & C licensed Personal Lines Account Manager with 2+ years of independent insurance agency experience who wants to work from home with set west coast hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. My client is a P & C agency in a rural area of Oregon. They have great reviews from customers, and they are a fun group to work with. They want to hire an experienced P & C licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who can manage the existing book renewals and do daily service task on current accounts. Communication will be on the phone or via email for this role. You will contact insured 60 days prior to renewal and will go over options based on market appetites, any new claims activity, and any milestones the insured may have had since the last renewal period. You will also have the opportunity to earn 50% of the agency’s commissions on 1st year for any completely new business you write from personal referrals. Existing Personal Lines Account Managers are averaging $500 or more commission per month. There is an assistant who handles non-licensed tasks to help with overall agency workload. The agency is on EZlynx and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal communications. They will provide all IT needed to do the job and will provide training on internal agency management systems. You will be working with preferred package Carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, and Travelers. You will work from home with Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match. Candidates need to have an active P & C insurance license, a distraction free dedicated home office with reliable upload/down speed, and at least 2 years of independent insurance agency experience (not a call center setting) with insureds in the Northwest specifically with Safeco, Travelers, Progressive, and other Pacific Northwest Carriers. The agency client prefers candidates who live in the Pacific Northwest, OR, WA, or ID to make it easy to work with the existing West Coast team. Experience with EZLynx is a huge plus.
