This role will provide ongoing, prompt, and accurate programmatic assistance to federal staff and CCDF grantees with high-quality services and products that exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in Child Development or Early Childhood Education grant funded programs with knowledge of CCDF regulations and program implementation. The Tribal Technical Assistance Specialist will provide national expertise on CCDF topics to develop and deliver technical assistance resources and opportunities related to CCDF subject matter (including construction and major renovation, fiscal management, internal controls, program integrity and accountability, and fiscal reporting). The role will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of training and technical assistance resources to support CCDF administration, capacity building, and the full implementation of CCDF requirements using research-based practices that are culturally responsive and respectful of Tribal sovereignty. The position is full-time and home based with up to 30% travel required to provide technical assistance to assigned Tribes and to attend related conferences and meetings. Key Responsibilities: In partnership with OCC regional office staff, develop a menu of TA offerings that are available related to subject matter expertise including construction and major renovation, fiscal management, internal controls, program integrity and accountability, and fiscal reporting. Support the OCC’s designated priorities and special projects, including development of TTA materials (e.g. issue briefs, handouts, brochures, presentation kits, and webinars). Work with team members to develop and execute targeted and universal training events (national and cross-regional face-to-face trainings and webinars, peer learning groups and communities of practice). Maintain close communication with the Tribal Center team to ensure targeted and universal training events are planned and offered effectively and meet the needs of participants. Work in coordination with the Tribal Center team, and other project staff to design, develop, and deliver TTA activities. Assist all TA Specialists with TTA related to topical assignment utilizing the resources developed. The Team: The Application Development Sustainment Services (ADSS) team supports Treasury Enterprise Application (EA) platform systems that are critical to success of the Department of Treasury IT mission. The ADSS program provides the contractor support for both Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and Development and Modernization (DM&E) efforts. Job Responsibilities As Senior Project Manager/Configuration Manager, you would help coordinate teams of architects, analysts, developers, and designers to support multiple engagements via Change and Release management. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the customer POCs, development project managers and O&M project managers along with various contributing members of the development organization, advising and engaging the client on key operational and strategic priorities, tracking, and supporting completion of high-quality deliverables, and assisting with team management tasks. What you’ll be doing: Work with government stakeholders to strategize, plan, manage, document and implement configuration change and release management functional and operational requirements, identify gaps, and identify alternative approaches to meet requirements. Manage status update meetings and communicate timelines and impacts of new initiatives to team members. Work closely with federal IT teams and other vendors to communicate consolidated feedback on project progress to federal leadership. Manage time and expectations of multiple projects and team members. Identify and communicate downstream impacts of process enhancements or major projects to other teams /departments that may be impacted. Work well in a collaborative environment to complete requirements. Work closely with the Support/Organizational Readiness team to ensure proper communications and training materials are updated as major enhancements are planned to be released into production. Play a key role in leading and executing configuration management and release transformation to support a growing customer enterprise. Required Skills: 10+ years of management experience. 6+ years of experience with release and configuration management of IT projects. 5+ years of experience supporting federal clients on IT / software projects, preferably utilizing Agile/SAFe methodology. 3+ years of experience in leading multiple teams. Bachelor's degree in technology related field or business. 1+ years of experience with low-code, no-code platforms such as Salesforce, Appian, and ServiceNow. US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position). Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply. Preferred Skills: Expertise with Agile Scrum methodology and SAFe. 3+ years’ experience managing distributed teams in support of geographically dispersed customers. The ability to proactively communicate with federal clients and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with a shifting landscape. The ability to work closely with and explain technical concept/solutions to on-technical client stakeholders. Experience with program standards, leadership, and coordination. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, SharePoint). The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $143,663.00 - $244,227.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
