How you'll make an impact The Team Lead, Financial Systems is responsible for overseeing and guiding the Financial Systems team in key tasks related to divisional financial systems testing, integration, support, and reporting. This role will act as a liaison between the Financial Systems Team, the Accounting Center, and Divisional Finance and Operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution of projects. The Team Lead will also mentor team members, manage priorities, and drive process improvements to achieve departmental goals. Essential Functions As a Team Lead, you will: • Lead and oversee the testing and conversion of accounting data from branch agency management systems to central divisional systems, including data analysis and reconciliation of converted data. • Manage and coordinate all activities related to testing and implementation of agency management system upgrades and production maintenance. • Provide leadership and guidance to the team in supporting agency management system accounting processes and resolving production issues. • Prioritize and organize production support issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders. • Collaborate with internal and external development teams to test, implement, and resolve production issues and new functionality. • Develop and deliver training and communication to finance and accounting users on new Epic functionality and reports. • Oversee the testing and maintenance of finance and accounting reports in agency management systems and ancillary reporting systems. • Create, review, and maintain accounting system procedures and testing documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Maintain organization of all electronic files for the accounting center and ensure compliance with documentation standards. • Lead and support various projects, audits, and initiatives as assigned by the Financial Systems Manager.
