How you'll make an impact Your Role: Casualty Broker (Wholesale Insurance) As a Broker, you’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth—connecting Retail Agents with national markets and delivering exceptional underwriting solutions through strong carrier relationships. What You’ll Do • Grow Your Book: Prospect and develop new business through networking and relationship-building with Retail Agents. • Be the Expert: Develop deep knowledge of high-risk wholesale insurance solutions across product lines, industries, and risk types. • Deliver Results: Analyze submissions, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure coverage for complex risks. • Lead & Influence: Educate partners on RPS’s full range of solutions and, when assigned, mentor and guide support teams. • Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and carrier guidelines to ensure profitable growth. • Travel as needed: Engage with clients as needed. What We’re Looking For • Proven business development and relationship management skills. • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication. • A proactive, goal-driven mindset with urgency to achieve production targets. • Ability to leverage data and tools to craft comprehensive insurance solutions. • About You Requirements • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience. • Home state P&C license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Sales experience in casualty wholesale insurance or related field preferred. Preferred: Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM. #LI-JD1 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
