Lead software release planning, coordinate with validation and integration teams, and manage change control processes for propulsion software. | Requires strong program planning, Agile methodology familiarity, and experience with software development tools like Jira, which are not evident in your background. | Automotive Software Controls- Propulsion This position provides an outstanding opportunity to lead high performing teams and workstreams required to ensure the on-time software delivery of propulsion controls software. You’ll work directly with other Software Planning & Integration team members, Project Control teams, propulsion calibration teams, and propulsion controls software developers to manage the software delivery, integration, and validation plans for all assigned programs. · Develop, maintain, and lead the propulsion controls release plans to support program timing and program complexity for assigned programs, in line with program milestones · Work with Project Controls to understand program timing and program hardware specifications · Produce feature by phase plan for each release · Produce application and validation plan for each software release · Issue Feature Cycle Plan (FCP) requests to feature teams · Work with validation team to meet validation plan · Work closely with integration team on plans and bug fixes · Maintain application planning tools and Jira up to date for all assigned programs; drive issues to resolution; keep issue status updated · Track late program software changes through the change control process and ensure software delivery of approved changes · Participate in gasoline and electrified change control board, Agile scrum team meetings, program PMST meetings, and lead software CPMT meetings · Support bill-of-feature and technical design review process · Help identify areas to improve software to help Client meet the highest quality, lowest cost products Skills Required: · Agile Software Development Agile Software Development – Would like somebody who is familiar with Agile terminology because we manage our software releases in Jira. · Candidate would be require to participate in daily stand-up meetings with Scrum leader. Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for residential EV charging systems, assist customers through installation and commissioning phases, and collaborate with sales and installation teams. | 3+ years of electrician or electrical component experience, strong EV charging knowledge, technical problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. | REMOTE: Candidate will be servicing customers on EST (*between 8:00- a.- 8:00 p.m.) Hours are 8-5. There will be a 4-5 week training to start located in MIchigan. This is a Technical Customer Support Specialist role- 100% phone work- technical support/ troubleshooting. Residential energy charging systems. 3+ years as electrician or working on electrical components, EV charging equipment repair/installation experience strongly preferred. Pre-Sale Technical Consultation – Partner with Home Energy Consultants (HEC) to review customer profiles, site feasibility, electrical requirements, and product compatibility. Participate in Energy Consultation calls to set accurate expectations regarding installation timelines, V2H functionality, and ESS integration. • Should have a strong foundation in EV charging, vehicle to home/ vehicle to grid. • Highly technically skilled- strong problem solvers. • This is residential- utility coordination- walking customers through installation process. • High emotional intelligence- verbal and written communication skills. • All troubleshooting is remote- over the phone. Escalation will be given to field service engineering team At-Sale Final Review - Join final sales calls to validate bundle compatibility, reconfirm installation scope, and ensure the customer understands integration details. Post-Sale Support Through Commissioning - Provide technical oversight from sale through installation and commissioning, including site assessment support, installer coordination, quote review, and early issue troubleshooting. Remain engaged until the system is marked operational, documenting all technical interactions.
