Assist project managers with project planning, scope control, issue and risk management, report generation, and documentation control, including some small project management duties.
Five years of project coordinator experience, SharePoint expertise, strong communication and organizational skills, and a bachelor's degree in business or related field.
Engagement Description – Under general direction and coaching, assists project managers in creating and maintaining project planning documents and reports. This includes project plan creation and managing, scope change control and issue/risk management, action item follow-ups, etc…. Supports project metrics analysis, team communication, resource planning, report generation, and documentation control. May take on some project management duties for projects of small size and low risk. Adheres to Project Management policies, procedures, and methodologies. Provides support to ensure client/customer service expectations are met. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – • Five (5) years of project coordinator experience • Demonstrable organization and self-starter skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills; meeting minutes, presentations Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include: • SharePoint experience: this includes creating sites, adding documents and creating workflows. • MS Powerpoint and Excel experience • Experience facilitating quality review meetings • Knowledge of project management best in class practices • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet timelines required • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas • Advanced critical thinking skills demonstrated through problem solving complex business problems • Ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels • Ability to work independently within a team environment • Experience serving as a liaison between business and IT • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail. • Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience.
