Compensation$178K - 246K a year

Shape launch strategies, define product positioning, and enable growth through market insights and cross-functional alignment. | 6+ years in SaaS product marketing or related fields, strong research and storytelling skills, and experience partnering with product teams upstream. | About Engine At Engine, we're transforming business travel into something personalized, rewarding, and simple. For too long, managing travel and spend has been overwhelming and fragmented — we're here to change that. We believe the future of travel should be seamless and powered by technology that delights customers at every step. That's why we're building a platform that brings together corporate travel, a powerful charge card, and modern spend management in one place. To make this vision real, we're looking for exceptional, mission-driven people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel. More than 20,000 companies already rely on Engine to support over 1 million travelers and billions in annual bookings each year. Cash flow positive with rapid growth, we pair exclusive Engine-only rates, industry-leading rewards, and intelligent automation to help businesses save money while delivering world-class personalization and convenience. Backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, and Permira, Engine has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing travel and fintech platforms in North America, with honors including the Deloitte Fast 500 and Built In's Best Places to Work. The Role We're looking for a Product Launch Partner to sit within the Product organization - a strategic counterpart to PMs focused on how we go to market. You'll work upstream with Product (pre-10% concept validation) and stay tightly aligned through launch and into iteration. Your mandate: shape launch strategy, sharpen positioning, and ensure every new feature or product lands cleanly with customers and prospects to drive measurable business outcomes. You'll serve as the connective tissue between market intelligence, product development, and growth activation, ensuring we take products to market with clarity and precision that resonates with the right audience. You'll turn post-launch learning into immediate action, helping us iterate faster and raise the bar with every release. What You'll Do Work Upstream With Product (Pre-10%) • Partner with PMs before 10% concept lock to define the market landscape, customer insights, ICP/persona clarity, and the problem worth solving. • Validate problem statements through research, interviews, competitive analysis, and data. Define Product Direction Inputs • Shape early thinking on positioning, value narrative, and where the new product or feature fits in the Engine ecosystem. • Support PMs during the 10% Review to confirm problem validation, market fit assumptions, and early solution direction. Co-Own PMF Definition & Success Metrics • Define what product-market fit looks like for the initiative. • Establish early adoption and success metrics for Alpha, Beta, and GA or confirm if the work should skip phases. Architect Launch Strategy (Not Just GTM Messaging) • Build launch strategies rooted in customer need, competitive positioning, and product value. • Decide with PM whether the release requires Alpha → Beta → GA sequencing or should go directly to market. • Shape the narrative, audience targeting, messaging pillars, and differentiated value story. • Lead launch reviews at 50% and/or vertical GTM checkpoints for alignment. Enable Sales, Growth, and Cross-Functional Partners • Create crisp sales context, battle cards, and strategic messaging briefs for content teams. • Work with Growth on acquisition, distribution, and activation plans. • Provide Brand with narrative guardrails to guide creative. • Keep everyone grounded in the "what and why" of the launch and the PMF definition. Own Narrative Performance Post-Launch • Track how the story lands with customers, sales, and the market. • Evaluate adoption, sentiment, and business impact. • Feed learnings back into Product for the next iteration and into Growth for optimization. What You'll Bring • 6+ years in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Product GTM, or Growth within B2B SaaS. Travel, fintech, marketplace experience is a plus. • Demonstrated success partnering with PMs upstream, not just executing GTM after the fact. • Strong customer research chops (interviews, problem validation, ICP development). • Ability to define and measure PMF, success metrics, and early adoption criteria. • Excellent narrative and storytelling skills; able to crystallize strategic value from ambiguity. • Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting product performance and funnel insights. • Thrives in highly cross-functional environments, balancing product, growth, sales, design, and engineering inputs. Applications for this role will be accepted through April 10, 2026 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline. Compensation Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
