Senior IT Engineer We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and automation systems that enable secure, efficient operations for a hypergrowth organization. Drive strategic IT initiatives, mentor technical team members, and architect integrated solutions that enhance user experience and efficiency. Here's what you'll take charge of: Architect and Optimize Cloud Ecosystems: Design and implement sophisticated, scalable IT ecosystems that seamlessly integrate with core business platforms while maintaining robust performance, security, and compliance. Drive Strategic IT Automation and Process Optimization: Spearhead the development of advanced automation frameworks using Okta Workflows, APIs, and scripting to eliminate manual processes and improve system reliability. Lead Strategic Security Initiatives: Partner with GRC, engineering, and leadership to develop and continuously improve comprehensive IT security strategies that protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Mentor and Develop Technical Talent: Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT engineers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence. Manage Complex Integrations and Vendors: Oversee the integration of enterprise systems, evaluate and implement new tools, and manage key vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery. Establish Technical Standards and Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures to support knowledge continuity and organizational scalability. Lead High-Impact Strategic Projects: Own and execute company-wide IT initiatives from conception through deployment, ensuring successful outcomes that align with business objectives. What You’ll Bring to Engine: We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us: Experience: You have 7-10+ years in IT, including leading complex, company-wide projects and managing teams in a remote, distributed environment. Skills: You're a problem-solver with a knack for identifying issues before they become problems. You excel at system integration, cloud services, and security protocols, and you have a strong eye for detail in documentation and design. Tech-Savvy: You're a pro with Okta, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, and the Atlassian suite, among other tools. Mindset: You're a proactive self-starter who enjoys sharing knowledge and leveling up your team. You thrive on driving initiatives with minimal oversight and are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex systems to anyone. Compensation Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
