You will guide an eight-person team handling policy maintenance, research, escalations, and beneficiary claim processing—acting as the key liaison between field advisors, insurance carriers, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily insurance operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals. • Analyze operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements. • Support advisors and internal staff on insurance policy issues, compliance, and service inquiries. • Collaborate with carrier partners and independent marketing organizations to resolve escalations. • Manage time-sensitive processing of new business, policy changes, and beneficiary claims. • Contribute to Agile and process improvement initiatives across departments. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5–10 years of experience in Insurance Operations (Life, Universal Life, Long Term Care, Disability Income, Hybrid Products). • 3+ years of experience supervising or managing small to mid-size teams. • Customer Service experience (required). • Active Life & Health Group I Insurance License (required). • FINRA licensing (required). • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required). Preferred Skills • Knowledge of Whole Life insurance products. • Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies. • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills. • Confidence in resolving complex issues and maintaining strong client and team relationships.
