Position Summary: Clearway Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director, Payor and Manufacturer Access to lead strategic initiatives that unlock and expand access for our clients to life-saving medications for patients. In this high-impact role, the Senior Director will develop and execute access strategies, strengthen relationships with payors and manufacturers, and drive innovative solutions that remove barriers to care. By anticipating customer needs and leveraging data-driven insights, you will create access pathways that improve patient outcomes while aligning with marketplace dynamics. Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with payors, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders to align on mutual goals and enhance patient access. Policy Advocacy and Industry Leadership: Advocate for policies and initiatives that improve access to medications for our clients and navigate evolving healthcare regulations. Shape Clearway Health’s market entry strategies by ensuring access-related considerations are integrated into business decisions. Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on evolving payor and pharmacy landscapes. Champion cross-functional initiatives that drive medication accessibility, ensuring that access strategies are embedded across departments. Customer-Centric Access Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive, patient-first strategy that ensures hospital systems and individuals receive timely medication access. Identify and eliminate systemic barriers to access, using data-driven insights to refine and improve patient and provider experiences. Successfully secure contracts and gain access for Clearway Health customers from LDD manufacturers, PBMs and payors. Performance Measurement and Operational Excellence: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to payor and manufacturer access, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Build robust reporting and analytics frameworks to measure the impact of access initiatives and inform future strategies. Drive operational efficiency by optimizing workflows, leveraging technology, and streamlining processes that improve medication access. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations related to payor contracts, reimbursement, and access. Develop risk mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges related to compliance, contract management, and access barriers. Qualifications and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or related field. Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare, or access-focused roles, with at least 5 years in leadership. Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact access strategies that improve patient outcomes. Strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change at the executive level. Expertise in navigating payor landscapes, regulatory requirements, and pharmacy access challenges. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Experience managing multiple high-priority projects while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Skills and Experience: In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial and other government payor sectors.
